Group A: Chile wins easily and rallies last

Before this last day, Paraguay was in the race for the final round. But one point behind Chile, victory was essential to hope for anything. The operation was badly engaged since in the first minute of play Uruguay opened the score by Sindy Ramirez. Upon receipt of a touch, Ramirez controls the chest, lets the rebound and triggers a left-leaning pivot to lob the opposing goalkeeper.

Surprises of entries, the Paraguayans will impose their game and return to height before the break, thanks to the equalization of Jessica Martinez. However, in the second half Paraguay will take time to make the difference. It is Amada Peralta, coming into play after the hour of play, who will release his selection in the additional time.

With this victory on the wire of Paraguay, the host country was therefore obliged to win against Peru to clinch its place in the final round. Determined to reach the last box, at home, Chile was quick to take the game to his account. A clear domination that will translate into a first goal of Yanara Aedo, before Yessenia López allow Chile to break before the break, a long shot.

After the break, La Roja will further accentuate his lead. Aedo scored twice after a third Chilean goal scored by Sporting Huelva player Francisca Lara. At the end of the game, María José Rojas in turn marks and concludes perfectly the evening of Chile. After three first meetings with a single goal, Chile has an offensive festival in front of its public and is full of confidence before starting the final round.

Eliminated from this Copa América, Paraguay still finished third best and won his place for the Panamerican games of 2019. On Monday, for the first game of the finals, the teammates of Christiane Endler will face Brazil. The opportunity for the door of the PSG to find some of her teammates.

Group B: Argentina makes the difference on penalties

Among these team-mates, Paris Saint-Germain defender, Erika scored twice as Brazil's wide-ranging 7-0 win over their Bolivian neighbor. Captain of the Seleçao on this meeting, the Parisian scores twice by taking the lead corners. Among the scorers, we find Andressinha, the Portland player who also offers a double, or the player of FC Barcelona Andressa Alves marks the third Brazilian goal. A reshuffled Seleçao for this last match, but an offensive efficiency always present.

Finally, Argentina and Venezuela competed for the last qualifying spot. A breathless and balanced duel where Argentina will take advantage of the mistakes of the opponents to score. Not finding the flaw in the game, Soledad Jaimes will allow the players of Albiceleste to return to the locker room with the advantage by transforming a penalty just before the break. Led to the score, Venezuela will not manage to return in the second act and will even concede a second penalty. This time it is Estefania Banini who transforms it at the hour of play and allows Argentina to glimpse the final round. In the final minutes, Mariana Larroquette is not far from scoring the third Argentine goal, but her shot is pushed back by the crossbar of the Venezuelan goal.

Last qualified therefore, Argentina will begin its final phase with a meeting against Colombia.
