Milan temporarily takes the lead of Serie A after his victory in Verona, while Juve was held in check by Mozzanica. First success for Roma while Sassuolo lost at home against Fiorentina.
On his lawn, Juventus had to settle for the draw against Mozzanica (1-1). In trouble at the start of the season, the Atalanta players have offered themselves a significant point against the champions of Italy, a result that contrasts with the heavy defeat suffered in opening against Fiorentina.
Juve hooked at home
A meeting where both goals were scored in the first ten minutes of the game, with the opening of the score in the 4th minute in favor of Mozzanica. On a free kick from Daniela Stracchi, Cecilia Salvai deflects the ball into her own goal.
The Bianconeri then quickly had the opportunity to come up with a penalty kick whistled in favor of Juve, but Cristiana Girelli saw his shot pushed back by the post (5th). Three minutes later, Eniola Aluko finally managed to equalize in favor of Juve, placing his shot out of range of Diede Lemey, the Belgian keeper of Atalanta.
Returned to the score, the Turinese will never manage to take the lead in this game, despite the control of the ball. This is the first time that Juve shares points this season.
With a game late, the Bianconeri had the opportunity to take the lead alone in case of victory against Orobica at the end of the month.
Milan alone in the lead
Now they can still join AC Milan at the top of Serie A, but they will have to share first place. For the moment, Carolina Morace's players remain three points ahead of the championship after winning the Verona (0-1). With a gradually soggy ground, the difference was made in the first half with Valentina Giacinti who misleads Camilla Forcinella (39), perfectly served in depth by Manuela Giugliano.
The number 10 of Milan who will then out on injury in the second period, a blow for the Rossoneri pending the duration of the unavailability for Giugliano. With a lawn full of water, the game is much less fluid in the second half, even if the Milan has had many opportunities to take off but never achieve it.
Co-leader before this 5th day, Sassuolo had his first defeat against Fiorentina. After a draw against Milan, the players of Gianpero Piovani have this time lost at home against the Viola (0-2).
Fiorentina carried by his captain
This victory gives Florence's players confidence before Chelsea's UEFA Champions League reception. In front of Sassuolo, Fiorentina won with two goals from captain Alia Guagni, each time on a corner. It was first in the first period that the Florentine side opened the scoring, taking in the six meters a ball first deviated by Lana Clelland on the center of Alice Parisi (26th).
The best opportunities of the match are in favor of the Fiorentina, in the game and on kick set, and it is on a new corner that the Viola finally makes the break in the second period. New service from Parisi, and this time Alia Guagni just put his head and sends the ball into the left corner of Gaëlle Thalmann (73).
Sassuolo bows for the first time this season and allows Fiorentina to get closer to one point in the standings. Like Juve, the Fiorentina has a game late, and remains for the moment in a waiting position, in the wake of the leaders of Milan.
Chievo and Roma open their meters
For the players of Chievo Verona, this week was the first take-off in the standings. After a season noted for its rise in Serie A, Chievo remained for the moment waiting for his first points. After three defeats, the Veronese have taken six points in the space of a few days, winning Wednesday against Bari (2-1) in late match of the second day, before winning this weekend in Orobica .
A 3-0 away success with a double from Valentina Boni who opened the scoring on a free kick (17th). Always in the first half, Stefania Tarenzi already scorers against Bari this week allows the Chievo to make the break (34th). An advantage even amplified late in the game, with the two scorers in action, Tarenzi pass and Boni at the conclusion for the third goal (87th).
AS Roma also won their first points this Saturday. An away win on the pitch of Florentia (1-2). The players Elisabetta Bavagnoli opened the scoring through Claudia Ciccoti, on the lookout in the six meters (45th). Moments earlier, Florentia had hit the post through Jenny Hjohlman (41 ').
In the second half, Roma come off with an excellent ball in the space from Gida Greggi to Agnese Bonfantini in depth. The Roman attacker then won her face-to-face with Rachele Baldi (65th). Florentia reduced the gap late in the match on penalty, but must bow in this part (1-2).
Victory on the same score for Tavagnacco who wins at home against Bari with a decisive goal of Elisa Camporese free kick after extra time (90 + 5, 2-1), while the players of Friuli were reduced to ten.
