Saturday, April 21, will be held at the National Football Center of Clairefontaine the qualifying tournament of the Danone Nations Cup 2018. The Danone Nations Cup is this great international competition organized for 10-12 years and sponsored by Zinedine Zidane.

For this 2018 edition, the DNC has decided to revamp. Exit the different regional stages, place a single qualifying tournament, organized so this Saturday in Clairefontaine. This tournament will allow access to the national final, which will take place in Montpellier on May 20th. For these qualifications, 40 women's teams will compete, in parallel to the men's tournament which also brings together 40 teams, in total a thousand children are expected in this high place of French football.

Only 8 of them will be able to reach the national final, including 4 women's teams. They will join the Montpellier team as host, and the team of Nantes, defending champion, and who are already assured of playing in the national finals of the women's tournament in May. Finally, the winner will have the privilege of representing France at the grand finale.

Another special feature is the world finals: There will be no 2018 world finals but a 2019 double-final. This 2019 double-finals will welcome both the 2018 national finalists around the world and the winners of the 2018 finals. The exact date and stadium for this double world final will be announced later. In 2017, it was the girls from Brazil who won the trophy.
