Peggy Provost was named this Friday new coach of the French military team. The former international tricolor (91 caps) succeeds Elisabeth Loisel, who had led the military to the title of world champions in 2016 (2-1 victory in the final against Brazil).

It is under the orders of Peggy Provost that the French military team will defend its world title from June 20 to July 5, 2018 in Fort Bliss (Texas). Aged 40, she has been part of the staff of Olivier Echouafni, former A coach (2016-17). Soon, the new coach will have to compose a list of players who will participate in an internship in Fontainebleau from May 28 to 31. During this course, the team will play a preparation match. Then on June 16th, the players will once again be called to Fontainebleau before flying to the United States on June 20th.

In ten days will be held the draw for this military world championship, which will be the eleventh edition. The organizers hope to bring together ten teams, divided into two groups. The United States is already placed in Group A, France in Group B.
