It will be necessary to get up early this Thursday morning to follow the opening match of the Women's Tournament of the Military Games taking place in Mungyeong in South Korea.
France meets the host selection, South Korea, at 4am (Paris time), 11am at Gimcheon where this first game is played. The selection includes Group A with South Korea and the United States, while Group B is made up of Germany, the Netherlands and Brazil.
The history of this competition
The Military Games are in their 6th edition, but they only enter the women's football tournament since 2007, so this will be the 3rd edition for women.
In 2007 in Hyderabad, India, North Korea won the tournament by beating Germany 5-0, while France beat the Netherlands 1-0 for the bronze medal.
In 2011 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, we take almost the same and we start again! The winner is unpublished, it is Brazil, who wins on the score of 5-0 against Germany, while the Dutch won this time the bronze medal by beating the French on the score of 2 -0.
This edition of 2015 will be the opportunity for France to try to climb for the first time in the final and win the tournament.
