By winning 2-0 against the Netherlands, the French military team has qualified for the final of the Military Games, which are disputed in South Korea, and already has a certainty: that of being medalist. It remains to be seen whether it will be gold or silver!

At the end of a very contested and rich in occasions, the tricolor military clinched their place in the final by scoring 2 goals in the 2nd period. The scorers, Jessica Lernon (48 ') and Cynthia Guéhéo-Djetou (86') were able to rely on a collective determined to ward off fate after 2 failures in the semifinals.

In 3 days, it will face the Brazilian delegation, defending champion and as often when it comes to women's football, the benchmark of the discipline. Elisabeth Loisel, coach of the French military team, has a clear advantage over her counterpart: that of having the necessary bench to run. If we add to that, the fact that France has been illustrated in attack, becoming the best attack of the competition, everything seems to come together to win a gold medal!

But beware, even started by the pace of an international competition (3 matches in 4 days, including 1 with extra time), Brazil, which has imposed only one goal against South Korea, remains a dangerous opponent.

The small final will take place on October 9 in Gimcheon (15h00 local, 8h00 French) and will oppose the Netherlands to South Korea (organizing country) for a 3rd place at the World Military Games.
