After having the reaction of Amandine Soulard on the challenge of size that awaits Marseille, facing Lyon tomorrow, we also wanted to have the opinion of his teammate, Nora Coton-Pelagie.
In the squad of OL, there are players you know very well, what memory do you keep of these players? Are you happy to find them on the ground? What is it like to play against them today?
Nora Coton-Pelagie: It's a special match, because it's the biggest team in France. After anyway, it is a team that is renewed regularly but no matter, it remains at a very very good level, it's more that we are interested, that the players individually.
But for you personally, there are memories in common, there is an experience?
Nora Coton-Pelagie: In the field, we have no time to think about it (Editor's note).
You made a match that really impressed against PSG, it was harder then, did not this match hurt you in the end?
Nora Coton-Pelagie: Anyway, I think that Olympique Marseille, is an expected team whatever happens. It is a promoted who is expected, whereas one is just a promoted. After that it's sure that when we see a 1-0 defeat at the Camp des Loges, it must have made us think. We're still learning, we just went up, we re-discover a level [for some], it's complicated.
You have a bit of a leadership role on the field, what are the points you want to emphasize with your teammates?
Nora Coton-Pelagie: At the moment, we talk a lot about defensive placement, we try a lot to help each other and help each other. We also try, when there is a little less good to reboost. It depends on the matches, after we try to learn to communicate, in fact, more. Because last year, we had a lot of ball possession, so we are not asked the same thing.
Facing Lyon, you will play in a stadium where you are not necessarily used to play, how is your preparation?
Nora Coton-Pelagie: It seems to me that it is 45 minutes so for us it will be a mini-trip, but it will not really be at home. In addition it is a field that most players do not know.
It changes something compared to usual?
Nora Coton-Pelagie: Well, it's always good to be on your field, the one where you usually evolve. We were told to go there, compared to the fact that it was broadcast, we go there, we adapt.
How do you apprehend this match against OL, in relation to the context of the match, that it is the first "Olympico"?
Nora Coton-Pelagie: We still have the same thing, after it's mostly around, the media, the supporters, as against the PSG, it was especially around that it changed speech. After we focus on the field, we try to do what we have to do. It changes a little things [face OL] because they are not the same teams [we face]. After we try to listen and put in place the instructions of Christophe.
Will this match against OL allow you to learn things faster, to progress, individually and collectively?
Nora Coton-Pelagie: It is sure that big teams are always good tests. After we remain lucid, we just go up, we know that it is not necessarily against these teams that we will take points. We take the matches one after the other. We try to give our maximum. After all, it is always pleasant to play on a nice pitch, against a good team, of course.
