For the 16th final of the Coupe de France between PSG and Arras, the northerners had their heart shared between their favorite team and Amandine Henry, the northerner who now plays PSG. A coming of the international tricolor expected and greeted by several banners around the lawn, we were able to discuss with her at the end of the meeting.
Amandine Henry - It's nice to come back to play in the North especially since it was my first match under my new colors, my first match after my operation so yes it's very good, plus it's a victory at the end. I was able to score my little goal, I was able to have some playing time, so I'm really happy.
Hearts of Foot - Between the moment and we learned your coming to the PSG and the officialization, there was a certain amount of time. Is the wait, the time things are, that was difficult for you?
A.H - Not difficult, because I was in good hands, I was getting ready in the meantime and then I took my trouble and now I'm happy to be here and I'm going to enjoy it.
CDF - In Paris, you find teammates of the France team. In addition to the presence of Patrice Lair, it should facilitate your integration to the group even more?
A.H - In addition, we have a youth group. It is very good. And yes, there were some girls that I had found also in France team so the integration was done very quickly. In addition I am lucky to be in a good group, easy enough, very sociable so it is a good omen for me.
CDF - We announce you on loan to PSG until the end of June, then there will be the Euro. Does that mean you'll miss a good part of the NWSL season with Portland?
AH - For the moment it's an agreement between PSG and Portland so normally I should go back to Portland in March because the season starts in April, so in late March I should go back to Portland and then there will be the Euro but I take every thing in its own time. Already go back to my level and then we will see later but for now everything is fine.
CDF - You said in an interview that you wanted to help Paris win its first title of champions of France. Today with the four points, the defeat in Montpellier, it will be a real challenge to get the title?
A.H - Yes, but everything is possible. We have seen that for the club Fleury-Mérogis, it was accepted [the men's club Fleury (CFA) was not sanctioned by the FFF following a fault of the same type as the PSG ed] so we have also hope to recover these points because we say to ourselves: "Why not us? And then, it's up to us on the pitch to do the right thing until we finally let go and win, keep winning and we'll see what happens.
CDF - Which will mean notably to go for the title in Lyon, Parc OL?
A.H - Yes it would be good, after I will not be there to play this game but yeah it would be good for them, for the PSG because I think it's been a few years they work and a reward would do them good.
CDF - You had a lot of physical problems last year. Today, what are the sensations in relation to your objective of returning to 100% of your means?
A.H - For now, it was my first game, I played a half-time so we will go little by little. I do not ask too many questions, I work everyday and then we'll see how long it will take.
