In the quarter-finals of the Coupe de France, Olympique Lyonnais won on the score of 11 to 0 against Arras, a wide victory in a particular context, following the death of the parents of Loreen Herbet, the one of the players arragesoises. A match placed under the sign of emotion and solidarity side northerner while the result seemed to him acquired from the first minutes of the match, in favor of Rhodaniennes.

Doubt seemed unlikely on the lawn of the Degouve stadium. Before the meeting, Gérard Krawczyk set the scene by explaining that only an "influenza epidemic" within the Lyon team could have made possible a northern victory in this match. On the Lyon side, some absent and a return noticed, that of Jessica Houara after long months of absence. In front of Arras, she was able to play the entire match on the left side of the Lyon defense.

The jerseys of Arras all flocked to the name of Loreen Herbet

Beyond the "value" of the two teams, the players of the Ardennes approached this match in a particular context following the death of the parents of Loreen Herbet, in dramatic circumstances while the team played in the championship on the lawn of Le Mans . The solidarity that has been expressed since around Loreen Herbet has continued this afternoon during this match. Part of the recipe of the match was donated to Loreen and his family, and many people, supporters and simple anonymous, came to leave messages of support on the sidelines of the meeting.

A palpable emotion, with all the players from Bordeaux who entered the field with the flocked jersey "Herbet". Just before kick-off a minute of applause was followed by the hundreds of spectators present at Degouve. A context that seemed to weigh on the start of the match on the side of Arras with three goals conceded in the first six minutes of play.

Lyon without waiting

Ada Hegeberg first opened the scoring after just over a minute following a free-kick by Dzsenifer Marozsan. In the box, Marion Mancion does not manage to control the ball following the recovery of the head of Wendie Renard, and Hegerberg is on the lookout. The Norwegian striker recovers twice but finally manages to find the net (2nd).

It is then Delphine Cascarino who adds a second goal on a center-shot right side which lobes the guardian arrageoise and finishes in the small opposite net (5th). Moments later, Ada Hegerberg added Lyon's third goal (6th). Arras gradually manages to regain his wits and even knows a time around the quarter of an hour of play Audrey Tabary, particularly active in attack, even manages to find the way to the nets, but the action is tainted with a game (16th).

This good sequence arragesoise ends with a new Lyon goal, this time scored by Kheira Hamraoui (19th). An action part of a good reversal of Camille Abily to Selma Bacha in the area that then serves Marozsan. The German number 10 sets back for Hamraoui who does not miss the target.

The head under the water

At the half-hour game, it's the turn of Camille Abily to find the way to the nets, on one of his favorite exercises: free-kicks. Full axis to 16 meters, she places her ball on the right of the goal at the edge of the post and out of reach of Marion Mancion (30th). Before the break, Lyon added a new goal, scored against-his-camp by Chloé Lefevre, following a deboulé right side of Lucy Bronze (38th).

Arras manages to limit the damage with several saves shot-on-blow Loreen Herbet (41) and Marion Mancion on his line and his defense on the corner that follows (42). In the second half, Lyon accentuates its advantage even more, it is first Kheira Hamraoui who scores in the 52nd minute of the head after a corner hit by Marozsan. Ada Hegerberg then offers a hat-trick five minutes later (57th). Selma Bacha also adds his contribution in the 69th minute, at the conclusion of a left-side acceleration.

The best goal of the match invalidated by the referee

As in the first half, Arras has a great time and may have deserved to score on the free-kick of Andrea Prette (82) perfectly placed in the skylight, but who must then be re-shot for not having waited for the signal from the referee before hitting the ball.

Arras has not managed to score '' his goal '' so Lyon still flies with two new achievements, the first of Eugénie Le Sommer (90 + 1), on a shot placed flush with the left post and the second caused by the tricolor attacker, with a deflected center in her own goal by a defender arrageoise (90 + 3).

Lyon was too strong, but nothing spoils the party at Degouve stadium which applauds the actresses of this meeting, and in particular Loreen Herbet when it was released in the 78th minute. For L'OL, the adventure continues with a new title in the Coupe de France, one of the three trophies that Wendie Renard's teammates are aiming for at the end of the season.
