Originally from Clayes-sous Bois in Ile-de-France, Edgar Ebami founded the Baring Sport clothing brand six years ago. Baring Sport is a brand that offers clothing, shoes and sports accessories. Baring surrounds itself with several men's football ambassadors and women's football ambassadors to promote the brand. The brand has 16 references in the catalog.
An accomplished sportsman, evolving in the football world and interested in fashion, Edgar Ebami decided to create his own clothing line, both sporty and chic.
He explains the origin of the brand:
"The word" baring "in English means" laying bare ". Baring's "baring" means that: on the pitch, talent is expressed and refined by the Baring Sport Collection.
- In life, Baring's Sport-Chic collection makes it unique and stand out from the crowd. The clothes are so comfortable that they are one with the body. The brand BARING is born from this passion for sport and the desire to bring a new collection, comfortable and trendy to the demanding sportsmen.
We chose the boomerang to represent the Baring brand. A strong symbol, the boomerang, to have a perfect trajectory, requires some experience. By dint of work, the boomerang comes back to you. Just like the results after a serious training This boomerang is thus the symbol of the work, key of the success and the blossoming for the professional sportsmen or amateurs. We wanted to create Baring so that everyone can reveal themselves, and through sport, go after their desires and their goals. " (source: baring.fr)
Edgar Ebami about brand ambassadors:
"The players Sarah, Aurélie and Alexandra embody the simplicity of the brand. Going to the end of your desires. I was spoken 2 years ago of women's football and I think it was a very good entry for the brand. The choice was wise to appeal to them as Sarah M'Barek. What's missing in Baring today is the distribution network. We are looking for it now »
They talk about Baring:
Sarah Palacin (ASSE): "Apart from the first 4 in the standings, the brands are not going towards the players who are not pros. Participate in the development of the brand. I was super excited about the idea. These are quality clothes. Gratifying to be sponsored by a brand »
Alexandra Renault (ASPTT Albi): "The fact that Baring sponsors girls shows that women's football is evolving more and more. I'm lucky to be sponsored by Baring, I try to wear clothes as much as possible to make it known. I like it, I think it's both sporty and feminine. I hope the brand will develop over time. "
Sarah M'Barek (EA Guingamp coach): "For girls it's a good thing to have a brand. And for the brand, a good way to make yourself known. Being the only female coach of D1, I can bring her some visibility »
David Welferinger (ASPTT Albi trainer): "This is a brand that I immediately liked with a person of great quality. It's innovative to sponsor girls. With a beautiful logo. I wish the same success as some brands »
