After the victory of Juvisy against FC Metz, the reactions of Camille Catala and Aïssatou Tounkara, the two players of the Juv 'who answered together the questions of the journalists. We talk about the match, the lessons of the defeat at Guingamp, the ambitions of Juvisy and (many) players Essonniennes in blue. Selected pieces :

Back on defeat at Guingamp:
Camille Catala: "Maybe we could have put six there too. Unfortunately in Guigamp, it did not happen like that. Here we scored early, it allowed us to continue and take a little confidence in front of the goal, which is important »

Aïssatou Tounkara: "[He] had to win today after the defeat at Guingamp. There we win with six goals so it's positive, must continue like this. (...) We know that we made a mistake of course. Now we have to win until December [mid-season] after we'll see »

Camille Catala: "(...) It's high-level sport, and it gave us good things to take a good slap at Guingamp. It was that, we came out of a great prep, where we had just put a lot of goals and high level sport in the end, nothing is ever acquired and it is a perpetual recommencement so now we are in this perspective Every Monday, we build on what we did on Sunday, win or lose, and it's a new week.

On what has changed since the first day:
Camille Catala: "We found more solutions we will say (...) We had tried many things [at the level] offensive without the success of the goal and after a while, it helps the opposing team to hold good so we found the solution to score faster so it made us the game maybe a little easier »

On the quality of the group this season
Camille Catala: "Every year we are little better, because finally Aissatou, she goes out of training, it's been several years that we mix. For all the girls, we've been here for many years. We manage to keep a good group and every year, we try to build up. Last year, Emmanuel Beauchet, he had just arrived so it was a bit of a transition year. There the group, it has matured a lot, we know each other much better (...) The knowledge of each other gives us a lot of strength on the ground. After that it has to be concretized by goals. "

Goals this season?
Camille Catala: "To go in European Cup, so it's the first two places" [To finish in front of PSG or Lyon?] "Exactly, or in front of the PSG and Lyon (laughs)"

Juvisiennes in Blue
Aïssatou Tounkara: "It's true that the more women there are, the happier we are. (...) In the field, we have to bring more, like the others. After a week we go back to the club, we have to show what we can do. (...) [As an individual] I take the experience, every time I go, I learn. And every time I come back to a club, it's the same big, they continue to help me "

Camille Catala: "And then at the group level, it creates a lot of emulation. There are girls who go to A, girls who leave in [under] 20 years old, girls who leave in youth, and us when we find ourselves in Juvisy, it gives even more desire to do more, to be able also to be part of it so it's really beneficial for everyone "
