How did you come to Avignon after training in D2 Monteux club?

"I worked four seasons at the Avignon club before becoming, in September 2006, the sports development officer of FCF Monteux. Despite excellent results in U19 National and D2 (3 seasons on the podium), the president removed me from my position for reasons still mysterious in June 2014. I had interesting contacts with club presidents Women D1 / D2 but I did not want, immediately, to move away from the Regional Women's Foot Carpentras (double-vice champion of France UNSS 2015) which I am responsible. Finding people I enjoy in the club of my beginnings, with a real development project, was an opportunity that was close to my heart, even if we did not start from almost anything. A return to basics, after all, after a rewarding experience at Monteux ".

What are the prospects with the women's team and the season in the District?

"The club is structured at every level with the support of the leaders who put women in the best working conditions. We welcome 100 players this season, from football school to seniors. We started with the desire to win every game. For the moment, we have not departed from this objective. If we continue this way, we will win the Coupe de France and we will go in DH (laughs). More seriously, this Coupe de France must allow us to raise our level to prepare the decisive matches for a possible rise. The group is young and inexperienced. He only wants to learn from these high-level matches. This confrontation against Puy will advance the players. I am happy about it.

How do you prepare for this match against a D2 team?

"This match is an excuse to adopt a more" professional "mode of operation. Girls do not want to be ridiculous. They do not want to disappoint all the people who love them and follow them every game. They will not be physically out of touch for this meeting. We just have to adapt the speech, during the week, so that they can let go and try things this Sunday.
