We now know the posters of the 1/16 finals of this 2017-2018 edition of the Coupe de France, with matches to be played on January 28th. A draw by Marine Fautoux and Timothé Crusol, recent European champions (men and women) basketball in the under 16 category.

Among the games out of the hat, Paris FC will receive the Paris Saint-Germain as in the previous edition where the two teams had met in the quarterfinals. A poster has become recurrent in recent years, the balance systematically leaning in favor of PSG.

Another poster is becoming a "classic", with a new Cup match between La Roche-sur-Yon and the Girondines de Bordeaux. The two teams that will meet for the fourth consecutive season in the Coupe de France, last year the ESOF had also created the surprise by eliminating Bordeaux at the same stage of the competition.

A draw was made, as for the 1 / 32nd finals with four groups in which were distributed the 32 teams (4x8). In each group were then drawn the various posters, with a geographical distribution (with a few exceptions) in the four groups.

For Villeneuve d'Ascq, "petit poucet" and last representative of Regional 2, the draw has reserved a match against the Stade de Reims which will move in the North. For its part, Le Havre (Regional 1), who felled Rouen and Saint-Maur will receive another team of D2 in late January, the Paris region FF Issy. Regional teams that will have at least one representative in the 1/8 round of finals, with the match between the Strasbourg club AS Pierrots Vauban and FC Chéran, who will have to spend another round to hope "to finish in beauty" facing a "big club" of D1.

In these 1 / 16th finals, there are three matches between teams of first division, with the Paris derby, Fleury who will move to Marseille and Albi to Montpellier. As for the defending team, Olympique Lyonnais, she will play at home against Yzeure.
