The 32nd finals of the Coupe de France football took place this weekend with few surprises on the field. A hierarchy often respected with including D1 teams present almost completely for the round of 32. The 32nd finals also see the continuation of the adventure for the "little poucet" of this edition, the first FC Nantes District club to be present at this stage of the competition.

The logic was often respected in these 32nd finals of the Coupe de France. If we saw yesterday the difficulties of Montpellier against OM in the only poster between formations of the elite, the other clubs of D1 facing teams from the lower divisions have all managed to qualify. This is the case of defending champions Olympique Lyonnais who won 8-0 on the ETG lawn in Ambilly with double winners Delphine Cascarino and Claire Lavogez.

River Scores for Paris and Saint-Maur
Even wider score for PSG moving to Bourges with a 19-0 win in the Cher. The Parisiennes probably in "foul" mood after the decision of the FFF and the withdrawal of four points for Paris in the league. Seven goals for Cristiane and an affluence of more than 4500 spectators at the Jacques Rimbault stadium.

Rivers scores on many lawns, as in Rouen with a 9-0 win at Juvisy or Poitiers with a 7-0 victory of the Girondines de Bordeaux. VGA Saint-Maur, who plays in the D2, also won a big 13-0 at CSO Amnéville, which regularly hosts FC Metz home games. The messin club in trouble in D1 has imposed on the grass of FC Evry (10-0 in Essonne), one of the most modest teams of the 32nd finals.

Some surprises for D2 teams
In contrast, the neighbors of the ESAP Metz (D2) are part of the teams eliminated by formations of lower division. However, in the case of the players of the ESAP, it is a half surprise with a defeat on the lawn of AS Nancy-Lorraine, descended in DH last season, but which caracole at the head of his group and has good chances to go up in D2 as soon as next season. The score is still flattering for the ASNIL players who inflicted a scathing 5-1 Messines.

Other teams D2 to go to the trap, Caen and Le Mans. The team of Sarthe was eliminated by Tours, DH club and who won 1-0 on his lawn. Le Mans, a team that had a good performance in the league to finish 2016. The year continues with a disappointment and a small feat for the players of Tours two years after their descent of D2. Same fate for AG Caen who lost 3-2 on the lawn of Calais, club Inter-Regional Division (third division).

D1-D2 respected hierarchy
Among the other teams of D2 out of the competition, some have been facing D1 club, this is the case of Lorient, beaten by Soyaux. A match where the players of Charente took off before seeing Lorient back to 2-2. Then Laura Bourgouin scored the goal of the victory in favor of Soyaux. Fewer suspense in the Breton derby, with a 6-0 win against Guingamp Saint-Malo. A victory including two goals scored by Léa Le Garrec who spent this winter from Saint-Malo to Guingamp. Agathe Ollivier also scored twice.

Same pattern for Nimes (D2) beaten by Rodez (D1) and Vendenheim (D2) who also lost on the field of AS Saint-Etienne (3-0). In the round of 16, Saint-Etienne can still imagine seeing a hat-trick between ASSE and FC Saint-Étienne, DH club, and who also qualified for the next round.

In the duel of D2 leaders, between LOSC and Val d'Orge, it was Lille who won with a heavy fog present for the occasion in the North. Rachel Saïdi opened the scoring for Lille before Justine Bauduin and Jana Coryn allowed LOSC to take off late in the game.

District club in the round of 16
The "petit poucet" of this event will be present in the next round. A relative modesty since it is FC Nantes. The women's section of the Canaris, which aspires to join the national level in a few years and who from now on for this Coupe de France, shows its ability to compete with teams deemed superior. After Quimper, it is Plérin, another team of DH which is inclined on the lawn of Nantes with a big success 6 goals to 1, for a team which evolves at the level District.
