We now know the posters of the semi-finals of the Coupe de France to be played Sunday, May 6. Olympique Lyonnais will receive Montpellier while Paris Saint-Germain will move on the lawn of ASJ Soyaux.


Lyon-Montpellier, a summit-style poster since the two teams met five times (six including FC Lyon) in the final of the event. Montpellier is also one of the few teams (with Juvisy and PSG) to have eliminated Olympique Lyonnais in the Coupe de France, each time at the end of a shot-at-goal session. A case that has not been repeated since 2009, and therefore before the current series of six consecutive titles in the Coupe for OL, a reign started in 2012.

For Paris Saint-Germain, finding Soyaux is not necessarily a gift. The Parisiennes probably remember the draw (1-1) conceded at home against the Sojaldiciennes opening season of D1. If Paris can count for this match on the return of its South American internationals, join Strasbourg and the Stade de la Meinau on May 31 could be a more complex task than the draw would suggest.
