FC Vendenheim captain Cynthia Duteil looks back on the Alsatian team's early season and approaches the LOSC reception.

Your opinion on the first 8 games of Vendenheim:

"After the first 8 league games played this season, the results are rather mixed. We are able to achieve very good things technically and tactically, to be present in the duels but sometimes things do not happen as we would for lack of aggressiveness paradoxically, efficiency, realism. We have missed points by playing below our capacity but we work to remedy these shortcomings, not to make the same mistakes. Our workforce is young, we have a good margin of progress and we are now 6th so there is nothing alarming. However we are all aware that we will have to look for points outside. "

How do you approach the next game against LOSC, 5th in the standings?

"We are going to meet Lille who is currently 5th in the championship right in front of us. This weekend we kept our 6th place, while not playing, which is a good thing for us because it will allow us to approach the match of Sunday more serenely but with this desire to take the 4 points that we would stay in this first part of ranking synonymous with maintenance. In five games at home, we have not conceded defeat so we will do everything to stay on this dynamic. For that it will beat Lille (formerly Templemars) who is a great team who plays and who has been able to pose problems during our meetings in previous years. Not to mention their recruitment and the merger of Templemars with the professional club of LOSC which make them serious opponents. "

How do you judge the level of this group A?

"The level of Group A is more homogeneous this season and higher. Each match is like a cup match with a lot of commitment, a lot of desire. Each team has its weapons and must assert them every weekend to garner as many points as possible quickly. This gives a rather open championship where we can expect surprises every Sunday. "
