On the road in the North, the ASPTT Albi players took their first point of the season with their 1-1 draw on the LOSC lawn. A match where the Albigensians have been effective, while Lille has often had the biggest opportunities throughout the ninety minutes.
This is particularly the case in the first period when Maud Coutereels found the post on free-kick (18th). Moments later, Gabrielle Lambert is on parade against Ouleye Sarr before Rachel Saïdi finds the post. A (very) strong time that finally materializes in the 25th minute with the opening of the score signed Ouleye Sarr. The northern striker, in full swing at the start of the season, scored her fifth goal under the colors of LOSC.
But this advantage will not last ten minutes with the equalizer of Kimberley Cazeau shortly after the half hour of the game. Served by Stephanie Bayo, she won her duel with Elisa Launay to bring Albi up to (33). This score of 1-1, the Albigensians will know hold until the final whistle because if they have some opportunities, the pressure was of course on the goal of Gabrielle Lambert. The Canadian goalkeeper of the ASPTT has indeed made several important stops in the second period to preserve this result.
This draw now unlocks the counter of the ASPTT Albi who were before that day one of the two teams not to have taken points this season. It is now done for the players of the Tarn.
