FC Fleury, promoted in D1 this season, hit a big blow during this wintry transfer window. The club Essonne has in fact agreed with Olympique Lyonnais to be loaned Claire Lavogez for the next six months. OL will pay most of the salary of its 23-year-old defensive midfielder. According to our colleagues from Paris, Lille and Bordeaux (who also evolve in D1) were also on the line to welcome Lavogez on loan. Without success.
In lack of playing time at OL since an ankle injury contracted last August, Lavogez wanted to get back to join the French team, in view of the 2019 World Cup. It will do so at the current tenth of D1, FC Fleury. The promoted will rely on this talented and experienced player to help him stay in D1. The attacker should make her first match against Bordeaux according to the president of the women's section, Daniel Carric.
