For her first D1 Women's match for 17 years, the newly promoted Saint-Maur received Olympique Lyonnais, title holder, at the Leo Lagrange stadium. The Yellow and Blue have suffered against the Lyonnaises, bowing 0-7 for their return to D1.

Their first encounter in D1 was particularly difficult. In the face of Olympique Lyonnais, the Saint-Mauriennes have nevertheless resisted the onslaught.
