Their first encounter in D1 was particularly difficult. In the face of Olympique Lyonnais, the Saint-Mauriennes have nevertheless resisted the onslaught. From the start, the Lyonnaises showed that this year again, it aims the title. The first chances are imprecise, Abily (1st), Kaci (3rd) and Le Sommer (9th) sending their shots over. However, they will find the fault soon after. On a free kick by Amandine Henry, Melodie Carré pushes the ball twice but Le Sommer follows and sends his shot to the bottom of the net (12th, 0-1). The goalkeeper of the VGA was also in shape today, still interfering on a shot from Abily (14th). But despite his good game, OL doubles the bet by Louisa Nécib in stride (18th, 0-2).

Touched, the Parisians try to react on counter-attack without success (22nd, 25th). Lyon keeps his grip on the match, but Carré is good on his line by being once again decisive (29th). In addition, Fenottes show a great imprecision in front of the opposing cages, Wendie Renard missing a huge 0-3 ball while Carré was out of his line (39th). Two minutes later, Hegerberg will not miss the second 0-3 ball, misleading the Saint-Maurienne door (41st, 0-3). The Lyonnaises could even lead 4-0 at the break, but Melodie was still present to capture the head of Hegerberg (45th). The score is then 0-3 for OL at the break.

After a double change at half-time, with the entries of Bremer and M'Bock instead of Le Sommer and Kaci, Fenottes start again in the second act. If Hegerberg still sees Melodie Carré intervene in front of her (51), Schelin she does not tremble to bring the advantage to 4-0 for his team (52nd, 0-4). The VGA soon made its first change, with Gomes coming out of Moket (55), while OL made their final change with Lavogez's entry in Henry's place. It is soon after that the players of Gérard Prêcheur will have their biggest fear of the meeting.

On a counter-attack, Marlyse Ndoumbouk placed a shot from a distance which crashed on the crossbar of Méline Gérard (61st). The intensity of the match goes down over the minutes, the VGA making its second change with Aurore Paprzycki giving way to Noémie Berge (63). It was not until the last quarter of an hour to see the OL more urgent, Mélodie Carré intervening once again before the onslaught of Lyon (74th, 76th). Nécib will however offer a doubled, a clear shot entering surface (77th, 0-5). After the last change to Saint-Maurice, which sees Coralie Lenot enter the place of Marlyse Ndoumbouk, Hegerberg Lyon advantage to 6-0 despite yet another parade of Carré (87th, 0-6) before his Swedish teammate, Lotta Schelin, do not come to conclude the show (90e, 0-7). Lyon could have conceded a goal at the end of the match, but the attacker of the VGA is stopped by the defense and the goalkeeper, the Lyon are on the edge of conceding the penalty.

Olympique Lyonnais won 0-7 on the lawn of VGA Saint-Maur, temporarily taking first place in the standings on points with Montpellier who also won 7-0 in Nimes. The Saint-Mauriennes will have a good fight against their opponent of the day, even close to the goal twice. They will have the opportunity to revive next week on the lawn of Albi while OL will receive him Nimes.
