This weekend is the 15th day of D1 Feminine. Between shock at the top and capital games in the race to maintain, here is the program.
Duel at the top in the title race
A match will centralize the attention during these three days. The shock at the top between PSG and OL is indeed exciting. Relaunched by their victory in Montpellier on the last day (1-2), the Parisian have good reason to vacillate Lyon to continue to believe in the title of champion. In the lair of Charlety, the Lyonnaises will however come with the firm intention to put an end to these hopes and isolate themselves a little more in mind. An encounter in which several interesting duels will take place, including one between the two best attackers of D1, Cristiane and Hegerberg. The nets may shake on Friday night.
Behind the two behemoths, the MHSC intends to take advantage of this direct confrontation to get closer, or even double one of the two teams. On the lawn of Saint-Étienne, out of the Coupe de France the week passed by Vendenheim (0-1), the Montpellier will not give a gift to a team a little hard now.
A Parisian derby stakes, La Roche and Nîmes want to get some fresh air
This day will also be crucial for the other teams at the bottom of the table. Traveling to Guingamp, the Nîmoises, who have just won three consecutive games in all competitions, want to continue on this path in Brittany. Faced with the first non-relegation, they will seek to give themselves air, just like the Guingampaises, also lacking points this season. Same mission for Roche sur Yon against Soyaux. Winner in the first leg (3-2), the Vendeennes will have to reoffend for, perhaps, out of the red zone according to the results of the other teams. The Sojaldiciennes will try to hang up the car for 5th place.
The only derby this weekend, VGA Saint-Maur receives Juvisy on the lawn of Chéron. A derby at first glance imbalanced where Saint-Mauriennes will play their all-round, they are now tied with the red lantern, Nîmes. Already victorious in the first leg, the Essonniennes have an opportunity to sit a little more their fourth place, and possibly get closer to the top three. Finally, the last meeting of this day will concern Albi and Rodez. Broadcast on Eurosport, the match between the two mid-table clubs promises to be tight, with the two still aiming to finish fifth in the standings ahead of all their direct competitors.
J15, in some figures:
9 - As the number of goals conceded by the PSG against Lyonnaises on the year 2015. The Parisian will try to remain stronger behind in this new year against the OL.
9 - It is also the number of points that separate the fifth, Rodez, from the first relegation, La Roche sur Yon. The middle of the table remains open at the end of the season.
21 - For 21 years, Juvisy has been unbeaten in the derby against VGA Saint-Maur. The last defeat of Les Essonniennes against Yellow and Blue dates back to October 2, 1994 (0-1). Since then, they have chained nine games without losing to Saint-Maur, championship and cup together.
