Paris Saint-Germain started their season against a team, on paper, less strong, the Rodez Aveyron Football. Parisiennes had to start in the best way, and that was the case!
The first minutes of the meeting played at the Charléty stadium were to the advantage of Paris Saint-Germain, who imposed his game but did not dominate beyond measure. Rodez was in a more defensive posture and we expected no less from a team that knows the value of the Paris team and tried some "shy" counter-attacks.
The turning point comes in the 27th minute. Without being able to concretize during the course of the game, it is on the penalty box that PSG will open the score. Marie-Laure Delie launched in depth by Kosovare Asllani, is mowed by the guardian of Rodez, Déborah Garcia. Sabrina Delannoy, former captain, is responsible for transforming the penalty and giving the advantage to his team. 1-0 for PSG.
We say that the meeting is finally launched and it is the case. Parisian women appear released by this first goal recorded in the 2015/2016 financial year.
Marie-Laure Delie (43 ') and Laura Georges (45') close the first half with two goals that put an end, almost, to the suspense that could have remained in this game. 3-0 for PSG.
The first half was one way but the Parisians were not imperial, certainly due to the many absentees. The Brazilian Cristiane Rozeira and Erika Cristiano were not qualified for this meeting, with the addition of Kheira Hamraoui, Fatmire Alushi, Josephine Henning, Kenza Dali and Laure Boulleau.
It should be noted that on the left side of the defense, the attacker Perle Morroni had to be replaced in this position. Uncomfortable, however, she did not deserve a task a little ungrateful, but that could open the doors of the main team as a lining Laure Boulleau.
The second half will only last 15 minutes (sic)
The Parisians return to the field, meanwhile invaded by the pigeons, and leave the charge against a team of Rodez who will have very little head out of the water.
In the 59th minute, Marie-Laure Delie of a powerful shot on the right side of the Paris attack scored the fourth goal and scored a double that puts it at the top of the goalscorers of the club of the capital.
One more minute of play and a new goal for PSG, scored this time by LA summer rookie forward Anja Mittag. 5-0 for PSG.
The last 30 minutes were a long calm river for the Parisiennes who, despite some opportunities, did not manage to aggravate the score.
This game will have especially allowed the Parisiennes to make a good introduction for this season 2015/2016 and we can hope to see a few more qualities in the game with the return of the many absentees. The next meeting next Sunday against Soyaux will certainly allow PSG and Farid Benstiti to refine the team for the games against Montpellier and especially against Olympique Lyonnais.
Coaching Reactions / Frustration and disappointment are at the end of the hall ...
Farid Benstiti (PSG coach): "I came out very frustrated with this match with technical poverty well above average and in the opposite direction. We won but we are far from the performance we could do in friendly matches against German teams in particular, because even if we had made mistakes that could be corrected, we found quality. But today, for me, it was hard to watch. 5 goals because intrinsically our players are of superior quality, for some in any case, but in the collective, in the animation, in the intelligence, I thought I saw play a team of good girlfriends. Where it's frustrating is that we have to go back to fundamentals forever. I would like people to realize that at some point we would like to move on to another stage. The answer is that being in Paris Saint-Germain is Rodez, it's Soyaux, it's Saint-Maur, that's the competition. Given the quality that will be with the return of absentees like Erika, Cristiane, Laure, Kenza, Kheira and two players who will arrive, not to mention the other absentees I have not mentioned, each game will be an additional difficulty for some players to be present in the group. That's why I ask the players to be ready right now because we do not have much time before the two big games that come, Montpellier and Lyon, which they will not expect. "
Sébastien Joseph (Rodez coach): "We would have liked to propose a little more game, unfortunately we were expecting a complicated match, we knew they were going to put a lot of intensity. We were hoping to hold and make a better first half, but we have this game with Audrey Cugat coming out and it hurts a lot. We then pay for concentration fouls with a silly penalty at that point, and we take two goals just before half-time on set-pieces. 3-0 at halftime is complicated. The disappointing thing is that we had too much technical waste to try to do something. We would have liked to keep the ball a little longer in view of the efforts we made to get it back, because we lost it too quickly. It would have been more technically correct to try to dissuade them from pressing us so high. In front, physically it's beefy and it goes faster. We hope that this will serve us for the upcoming matches to be effective in confrontations more within our reach and with direct opponents.
