On behalf of the third day of D1, the PSG and the MHSC compete in the first shock of this championship. Both teams know the importance of such an appointment and will want to quickly distance a competitor for the title. Two editors of Football Hearts give you their opinion on the match.

Opinion of Dounia Mesli: "The PSG favorite share but must not leave winner"

In his first encounter with D1, Paris faced Rodez, succeeding his entry into competition (5-0), when Montpellier met Nîmes on his lawn and won (0-7). In their second match, the Parisian went hard to win against Soyaux (2-0). The MHSC has continued its momentum against a large team Guingamp, weakened this season by the departure of M'Bock in particular, and struggling to find a logic in his game to be sharp.

This third match between the top two teams, promises to be very contested. Knowing that the club that will take the advantage in the score and will come out winner of the confrontation, will be strengthened in the rest of its season. A draw could be frustrating for both coaches, who must prove the respective potential of their team and send a sign to Lyon.

PSG has continued to strengthen in recent years, both male and female. The team led by Sabrina Delannoy since its inception has not yet raised any trophy but it could change during this season in view of the recruitment orchestrated by Farid Benstiti.

The Paris coach at the helm of the team for the last three years has had a lot to do since his inauguration: to reinforce his managers, to bring PSG a certain balance in his formation, to make Doubts hang on Lyon in D1, to take his team to the finals. UWCL, etc. The women's PSG has done a lot of work on itself to make its place and has contributed to the raising of the level in female D1.

The transfer of Claire Lavogez OL could have suggested that Montpellier would have difficulties this season, but it was not counting on the work of Saez and his staff recruitment, intelligent this season. Like the recent selection in Team France of Marie-Charlotte Léger (formerly FC Metz), Barcelona's Virginia Torrecilla and Brazil's Andressa Alves. The election of Sofia Jakobsson as the best player in D1 also weighed on the confidence of the entire team. The Montpellier game has continued to improve throughout the D1 championship. The final of the Coupe de France in 2015 was tight against Lyon and it took very little to win.

The match between the two teams will certainly be tight and the PSG has strong goals that pushes him to surpass himself. At home, PSG could possibly favorite but it will not win in the head of the players, because the Montpellier have very strong aspirations in this season.

Opinion of Daniel Marques: "The MHSC has the capacity to bring down Paris"

Montpellier has ideally launched its season against Nîmes and Guingamp. Despite the departure of Lavogez, the Montpellier attack turns out well. His line of attack, with recruits Gauvin, Léger and Alves, all guided by Jakobsson, has proven that it could hurt a lot. Gauvin and Léger have already made a strong impression, the second having been rewarded with a selection in Team France. Only downside, an average home game against the Guingampaises but finally won at the finish. The MHSC still has some gaps, but the gap has narrowed with competitors.

Opposite, the PSG has been reinforced this year, with the arrivals of Mittag, Cristiane, Erika and Dalkvist. The first two have already scored for their new club. But, despite the victories, the bottom of the game still does not reassure. The Parisian team relies on many individualities but we do not see any real collective, as in Lyon or Montpellier. Paris, however, remains effective, relying in particular on a solid defense. But in front of Montpellier, Parisian women may have some difficulties.

A close match in perspective between two teams who have not conceded goals. The MHSC, however, has the capabilities and the keys to bring Paris home. Except if the PSG decides to raise its level of play even more.
