This Sunday, on behalf of the 10th day of D1, the VGA Saint-Maur received in its enclosure the MHSC, second of the championship. The latter, in the fight with OL, which he will face in two weeks, wanted to continue its positive spiral while the VGA remained looking for points for maintenance.
This afternoon at the Stade Adolphe Chéron, the Saint-Mauriennes and Montpellier began this meeting with a very different goal in mind. Montpellier had to win not to be outdistanced by Lyon before the shock of the next day between the two teams. Saint-Maur was hoping to make it a feat on his turf, facing an undefeated team in the league at the moment and whose nets have been shaking only once this season. Of the two missions, it was the MHSC who managed to leave with the victory he wanted (0-5). The latter, however, took time to emerge.
After a minute of silence respected in tribute to the victims of the attacks of November 13, the kick-off was given. If the VGA is the first to approach the cages following a free kick captured by Laetitia Philippe (1st), it is the visitors who take the lead in this game. Andressa Alves is the first to alert the Yellow and Blue defense, with a shot just past the cages of Melodie Carré (5th), then a free kick that shaves the left amount (6th). Few opportunities outside of these in the first fifteen minutes, Montpellier putting the foot on the ball but the hosts remaining solid.

Montpellier will open the scoring at the end of these first fifteen minutes. After having seen her deep start cut by Mariane Amaro (13th), Sofia Jakobsson manages to center from a distance to Alves who deceive Carré by close to a flat foot left foot (16th, 0-1). The VGA, however, is not stunned by this goal and reacts. Present in the opponent's area, Tizi manages to hit. His shot, which started in the skylight of Philippe, is slammed little by the latter (20th). If the MHSC still gets a good opportunity, with a shot from Jakobsson above after a remission of the head of Laetitia Tonazzi (21st), it is the Yellow and Blue who are closest to score. First on a shot at 20 meters Lilia Boumrar lacking power (24th), then a close shot Kelly Gago, pushing Philippe to the parade (26th).
However, they can not equalize. The match goes down in intensity and Montpellier takes again the top. If the VGA still tries on a shot by Boumrar picked up by Philippe (39th), she ends up conceding the second goal. On a breakthrough in the surface, Jakobsson is still alone to shift to Tonazzi. The defense has not followed, the former Saint-Maurienne only has to mark in the empty cages of Carré (40th, 0-2). The score will remain there at the break, Saint-Maur resistant in the wake of a few attempts.

The first goal of Andressa Alves which allows to launch the Montpellier against the VGA
After the break, the MHSC accentuates its domination. Viviane Asseyi, little visible in this match, tries a chisel in the surface Saint-Maurienne following a center of Jakobsson but the defense manages to counter it (50th). Jakobsson then sees his head caught by Carré (56th) before the defense of the hosts does not crack again. Just back in place of Asseyi, Marie-Charlotte Léger sees her shot from far finish on the bar. Andressa Alves, who followed, controls the ball before sending it to the bottom (56th, 0-3). The newcomer will still talk about her a few minutes later. On an umpteenth center of Jakobsson, Léger sees his first strike against the Yellow and Blue. The latter however manages to take the ball and, after some dribbling, to send it to the bottom of the nets (60th, 0-4).
Two goals in quick succession that crush the VGA. The latter, however, is not allowed to do and finally reacts. On a good start in the back of the defense, Boumrar manages to hit but his shot is once again not powerful enough to worry Philippe (67th). The MHSC accelerates him one last time in this match and finds again the flaw. On a free-kick eccentric right of Alves, the latter sees his center halfway up to be taken over by captain Linda Sembrant (73rd, 0-5). Far ahead, the Montpellier then manage their advantage to the score in this end of the game. The VGA tries to find spaces but stumbles on the opposing defense or Laetitia Philippe. She will have one last fright on a volley of Light stopped on the line in two stages by Melodie Carré (89th). The score will remain there for today.

Both coaches, Régis Mohar (VGA) and Jean-Louis Saez (MHSC), at the end of the meetingSaint-Maur remains 11th before his trip to La Roche in two weeks while the MHSC keeps contact with OL before the shock of the next day. This meeting, which Montpellier has logically won (0-5) has also been the scene of reunion between Laetitia Tonazzi and VGA Saint-Maur. Indeed, the native of Créteil had her first experience in a women's football club in Saint-Maur. The club was at the time in a different situation than today. The latter has, among other things, said "very happy" to come back here.
