The French Football Federation has unveiled Friday the calendar of the D1 and the Coupe de France, season 2018/2019. The next season will start on Saturday, August 25, 2018 with the first day of D1. The day after the final of the U20 2018 World Cup to be held in Brittany (August 5th to 24th). The D1 will close with the 22nd and last day on Saturday, May 4, 2019. Four days later, on Wednesday, May 8, will take place the final of the Coupe de France. Finally, the season 2018/2019 will end on Saturday, May 18 with the final of the Champions League (only if a French club was to play this final). The season thus ended will give way to the 2019 FIFA World Cup, which will take place in France from Friday, June 7 to Sunday, June 30, 2019.
