At the beginning of July, OM announced a first set of rookies with the arrival of goalkeeper Pauline Peyraud-Magnin, Océane Closset and Laila Dali-Storti. On Wednesday, OM formalized the arrival of 7 new players in anticipation of the season which will open September 11 next. Presentation...

Among the rookies, a player was presented as a "favorite" by the club, it is Sara Yuceil. An unfamiliar name on our side of the border but one of the very good players in the Belgian league. Midfielder and Belgian international, she started in the same club as a certain Eden Hazard.

At 28, she has just won the championship with Standard Liege, which is in its sixth consecutive national title. She also participated in the victory of the Standard in BeNe League (merger of the Belgian and Dutch championships) in 2015.

The experience of the D1 to ensure the maintenance

Other experienced players will come to reinforce the OM squad, starting with Kelly Gadéa. Captain of Montpellier last season, Kelly Gadéa has more than 170 matches in D1 between Montpellier and Saint-Etienne. At 24, she is part of the generation that won the Euro U19 in 2010.

Selected four times in the French team, she was recently part of the blue group for the She Believes Cup played in the United States. It will strengthen a sector in Marseille very young and especially without experience of the D1.

A profile of experienced player who is also that of Amandine Soulard who played this season in Dijon, the main opponent of OM for the rise in group C. Attacking reconverted left side, Amandine Soulard has 115 matches in D1, played for most with AS Saint-Etienne. She also won the Coupe de France with the Forez team before joining the Dijon FCO season where she held the season.

Another regular D1 player to land in Marseille, Charlotte Lozé, midfielder, from the Ile de Paris club. With the descent of the club in DH, his transfer to the OM allows him to find the D1 and a former teammate and friend. It was Nora Coton-Pelagie with whom she had played a season in Issy but also in France U20 team, at the 2008 World Cup (Chile), where France had finished semi-finalist. Passed by Clairefontaine, where she started in D1 in 2004, she has nearly 150 matches in D1 with Montpellier, Issy, Paris.

From one Olympic to another
Among the new recruits Marseille, Salomé Elisor (19) and Ines Boutaleb (17), who are among the many young Lyon who have left the club this summer. Salomé Elisor plays midfielder, while Boutaleb played last season as a leading forward even though she may have played midfield. Inès Boutaleb has also finished OL top scorer (15 goals) in the U19 this season.

They arrive at OM where they will find some former classmates, Tess Laplacette and Amandine Blanc, whom they crossed at Les Bleuettes in U17. Included in the pre-list of Gilles Eyquem for Euro U19, they were finally not selected to play the tournament in Slovakia. Two players who will be able to make their debut in D1 (Ines Boutaleb played his first match in D1 at the end of the season against Montpellier) with OM, in a club that has regularly bet on young players in his ascent to the D1.

Last OM rookie, goalkeeper Maureen Saint-Léger (20 years old). Last season, she played at Monteux (D2), alongside Océane Closset, who will once again be OM's team-mate. Holder in the goals of Monteux last season, the year has unfortunately ended with a descent in DH for the club Vaucluse. Third in the hierarchy of goalies, she should initially keep the goals of the OM reserve which also evolves in DH.
