On the second day, the VGA Saint-Maur chained on a second victory (2-1) on the grass of the promoted FF Issy. The two Ile-de-France teams played a game that remained uncertain until the final whistle, and in which Issy opened the scoring.


For the second day of group A, Saint-Maur was entitled to his shortest trip of the year, on the side Marcel Bec stadium of Meudon where the players of Frédéric Goncalves met FF Issy. Two Ile-de-France teams, both passed by the D1 before descending to the lower level. For Issy, the fall was even a longer one with a passage by the DH before rising again the following season.


Issy strikes input


This "Ile-de-France derby" gets off to a flying start for Yacine Guesmia's players with Nacéra Bouchenter's first header in the first minute on a center from Sarah Boudaoud coming from the right. The slightly deflected ball goes to the right of the goal of Saint-Maur.


On the corner that follows, the players of FF Issy opened the score by Katharina Göttfried (2nd). An opening of the score and a beginning of match almost ideal for the players of the Hauts-de-Seine, who aim their first points after having lost in Rouen last week. The start of the match remains lively following the opener, with the VGA Laurie Teinturier's first free-kick to 18 meters left without succeeding to hang the frame (12th).


Issy also manages to be dangerous. Several raises in the axis of Solène Froger do not reach the midfield, and the Issy players try to turn them into quick attacks towards the goal. In its surface, Solène Froger does not hesitate to go out to prevent Issy from taking the break, as on this service in the back of the defense of Göttfried towards Nacéra Bouchenter (12th) and that the guardian of Saint-Maur intercepts opportunely.


Montgénie in a flash


The advantage of Issy rather than accentuate will eventually melt. In the 20th minute, Karen Montgene places a decisive acceleration on the left. A few minutes later, Nacéra Bouchenter has a new opportunity free-kick, but the ball goes over the bar (31). Moments later, her cross shot will also go close to the frame but without success.


The kicks stopped to hang on


Issy fails to return to the match while Saint-Maur fails to get away, before and after the break with this particular opportunity for Laurie Teinturier early in the second half (55), which sees Héloïse Ralambosoa achieve a decisive parry in its surface. Less rich in opportunities, the second period sees Issy cling and rely on the kicks stopped despite a more offensive option after returning from the locker room with the entry of a third attacker.


On two occasions, in the 75th minute and in stoppage time, Issy managed to bring danger to Solène Froger's corner but failed to catch the draw. For Issy, this is a new setback while Saint-Maur records a second success in as many meetings.
