Three games late were scheduled this afternoon in D2, meetings counting respectively for the 11th, 12th and 13th day. Among the teams entered today, FC Metz consolidated their first place in group A after their victory on the Arras pitch. A success on the smallest margin (0-1), thanks to a penalty scored by Meryll Wenger in the first period.
Three points that allow the Messines to count 10 points ahead of their opponents of the day, and 7 on the Stade de Reims. A comfortable mattress even if the rise is far from assured with eight more games to play including a trip to Champagne on the lawn of Remoises in April.
Conversely, in Group B, Grenoble may have put a cross on the climb this afternoon after his defeat on the lawn of Vendenheim. A goal that seemed already in jeopardy after the defeat of the Grenobloises last weekend in Nîmes (3-1), and seems a little more away. Vendenheim took all three points thanks to a goal by Océane Closset in stoppage time (90 + 1), in a match where Grenoble hit on the amounts in the second half by Olivia Mbala.
Six points separate Grenoble from the leading duo, Saint-Étienne and Dijon, the GF38, which is fourth behind Nancy.
In the same group, Aurillac-Arpajon is doing a good operation after his victory against Nimes (3-1). A match of importance in the race to maintain, while the FC2A occupied the last place in Group B before this game. The players of Cantal took the advantage in the first period with a double of Kelly Koné. In the second half, Laura Lemarquand accentuated the advantage of the Auvergnates before Manon Carlier reduced the gap for Nîmes.
In the standings, Aurrillac-Arpajon leaves the last place (now occupied by the ESAP Metz) and is now ahead of Nîmes by one point in the standings, in a group B where the last five teams are held in three points.
The last game late in Group B will be played on March 4 with a meeting on behalf of the 14th day between Yzeure and Montauban.
