This weekend, the 15th day was an opportunity to see more clearly in the climb race. At seven days, the number of candidate teams decreases with important matches played in both groups. And in this game, it is La Roche-sur-Yon and Dijon who have shown themselves to their advantage.
Group A - La Roche wins the challengers
At the top of the table, this weekend proposed an expected duel between the two teams in pursuit of LOSC. Arras and La Roche-sur-Yon, two teams for whom the hopes of climb went through a victory on Sunday in the North. And if it is Arras who opens the scoring, the ESOF manages to equalize before the break by Laurie Teinturier. After the break, Charlotte Peslerbe gave the advantage to La Roche, a lead that the Vendeennes will manage to keep until the final whistle.
The dynamic of the team of Malika Bousseau has therefore confirmed against Arras. A series of victories that La Roche could continue as of March 12, with a late match against Saint-Malo and the opportunity to return to three lengths of Lille.
Because if the dynamic is on the side of La Roche-sur-Yon, the points are to the advantage of the LOSC. The northern leaders who imposed themselves 2-0 in Caen. A match that settled in the very last minutes with the two Lille goals scored in the second period playtime. Two goals in two minutes to secure three valuable points for the rest of the season. It was Jana Coryn (91) and Ludivine Bultel (93) who allowed their team to force the decision in this match.
Reims is gaining height
In this 15th day, the other good operation may be for the Stade de Reims. In front of Saint-Malo, the Rémoises won (1-0) thanks to a goal from Chloé Philippe in the 77th minute. International U17, Chloe Philippe is decisive for the second in three days, after his goal in the last minutes against Brest on the thirteenth day.
This victory allows Reims to now have five points ahead of Lorient, in the standings position, and eight on Caen first relegation team. Because at the same time, Lorient lost (1-0) on his lawn against Stade Brestois. A derby that has turned to the advantage of Finistère players for the second time this season. The goal of the victory was scored by Solenne Ninot in the 38th minute. In the second half, Lorient does not manage to realize his best period and must bow.
Le Mans, a last minute draw
With this victory, Brest approaches Rouen in the first part of the table. The Rouennaises fainted in check by Le Mans (2-2) despite the nice goal of Tiffany Vassant in the 27th minute. The opening of the score in this match is signed by Anaïs Gasnier for Le Mans. A goal on penalty (12th) following a hand of Arnelia Kutoupot in the box. It is then Tiffany Vassant who equalizes for Rouen, on a cross shot to 18 meters and lober Léa Dalibot before ending in the net.
