A weekend with a lot of movement in D2, especially in Group B where the cards were redistributed at all levels. Dijon takes the lead with Grenoble who went to win a victory on the lawn of Saint-Etienne. In group A, Brest and Arras have signed the good operations of the weekend.

Group A - Arras continues its recovery

Arras continues its rise to the rankings, with another victory (0-5) on the lawn of VGA Saint-Maur. A big success that allows Arras to temporarily climb to second place in the standings. Undefeated for seven games, the North have set the way for their move in the Val-de-Marne.

A meeting where Pauline Crammer opened the scoring in the 25th minute, receiving a distant free-kick on which she is ahead of the exit of the Parisian goalkeeper. The VGA fails to return to the score, with several opportunities including a hit on the bar Laurie Teinturier, and cash a goal just before the break, registered by Amelie Coquet.

After the locker room, Arras amplified his advantage with a double for Emeline Bianchi in the first fifteen minutes of the second period (53rd and 55th). A first double in D2 for the young player north before Audrey Tabary does not add the fifth goal shortly after the hour of play (63). This success allows Arras to return to four points of FC Metz, still leader of group A after his draw (1-1) at home against the Stade de Reims.

=> Metz / Reims 1-1: Of pride, the Messines equalize against the Remoises

If Arras reaches the second place, it is also that Saint-Malo down a step after his draw (0-0) against Lorient. Second 0-0 in two weeks for the Malvinas, a positive result for the Lorient girls who hang on this occasion their second point of the season. Saint -Malo, a point behind Arras, and a length in front of La Roche-sur-Yon who won (0-2) on the lawn of FF Issy. The goals in yonnais were registered by Pauline Butet and Astride Virlouvet.

Brest gives himself air

In the bottom of the table, the good operation is to the credit of Stade Brestois who won largely (5-0) against Angers. A bad pass for Angers who retrograde in the standings, while Brest temporarily away from the relegation zone. A meeting in which Anaïs Ribeyra scored twice after opening the scoring in the first period. Melanie Blanchard, Lydia Belkacemi and Eva Sumo also scored in this meeting.

A red zone which is for the moment only three lengths behind the Brestoises with Le Mans who lost this weekend in Normandy. A 3-0 success for Rouen, with goals from Makan Traoré, Sylia Kouy and Naïma Talani.

Group B - Aurillac escapes from the red zone

The cards were redistributed this weekend at the two ends of the table in the group B. After seven days without points, Aurilla-Arpajon chained a second consecutive success (2-1) against Ambilly. After Montauban, the successful FC2A succeeds with success and several key interventions from Deborah Alinc, the very young guardian of Aurillac-Arpajon.

Led to the score after the goal of Kylee Ann Baisden, the Cantal players managed to turn things around with goals from Talya Gace before the break (43), then Laura Lemarquand in the second half on penalty (73). A victory against the course of the game, but which allows FC2A out of the red zone for the first time in two months, while Ambilly remains in the last position of the group.Dijon, new leader

Aurillac is back in the bottom of the table, while Dijon and Grenoble take the lead in the lead. A new change of leader since after Grenoble and Yzeure, it is now Dijon who takes the first place in the standings after his victory against Montauban (2-0). A meeting where Laura Bouillot (33) and Pauline Desbourdieux (45) scored both goals in the first half Burgundy. After returning from the locker room, Dijon stumbled twice over the amounts, without being able to aggravate the brand in their favor.

With this success, Dijon is in equal points with Grenoble, but with a goal difference favorable to the DFCO. Grenoble will be content with this second provisional place, given the beautiful operation for the GF38 this weekend, victorious on the lawn of Saint-Etienne (0-1). Three points obtained thanks to a goal Laureen Palma (43) at the end of the first period, and a defensive solidity that has preserved Grenoble on the multiple offensives of the ASSE.

The Vertes relegated to three points of the leading pair, as well as Yzeure beaten at home against Vendenheim (1-2). The Alsatian players who made the difference in the first period with goals from Tania Seddaoui and Fiona Bitterlin and lose the first place in the standings to their opponents of the day.

Nancy remains in ambush

Two leaders, with now a trio of pursuers, since AS Nancy-Lorraine comes back to Yzeure and Saint-Étienne. The players from Lorraine who could even have taken third place in the standings but they had to settle for a draw against the ESAP Metz (1-1).

A result "wiser" than usual for a Nancy team who chained the goals in recent weeks. A match where Melanie De Brito opened the scoring for Metz (23rd) before Christine Manie equalized on a corner before the break (45 + 1). In the second half, only the crossbar shook on the attempts of Francine Zouga and Marine Morel, and Nancy will have to settle for the draw, in a high of table which remains largely open.

Toulouse is also in range after his big win against Nimes (4-1). An encounter where Marie-Pierre Castéra scored twice for the TFC, the former Albigensian Anaïs Arcambal and Marine Garcia also scored for Toulouse. At the end of the match, Marianne Lafata, just entered the game, narrows the gap in favor of Nimes. A bitter defeat for Nimes who now occupies the penultimate place in the group, the first directly relegated three points behind Montauban and Aurillac.
