At the end of the draw against Lille (0-0), we went to ask some questions to the coach of Arras, Daniel Krawczyk to have his feeling on the meeting. A match that was much more crucial for the LOSC than for his club. He took stock of the season of Arrageoises, who finished at the 3rd place in the ranking of this season 2016/2017.
The summary of the meeting => D2F (Arras / LOSC 0-0): The Lille girls see the climb escape
Football Hearts - A draw, which is not a real satisfaction for you, but you have hooked the LOSC?
Daniel Krawczyk - I would not say it's not a satisfaction, we wanted to win the game. After Lille or not [rising in D1], we played the game against Lorient, Caen, Boulogne. When I play, it's to win against any team.
Football Hearts - Do you think you have ruined the rise of the LOSC, as I have heard in the audience?
D.K. - I'm spoiling nothing. When I play a football game, it is to win, regardless of the team. It's easy to blame others. Whether Lille or another team goes up, for me, it's not a problem. It's the best team that goes up.
Soccer Hearts - There was a lot of tension in this game. We saw a lot of duels ...
D.K. - I think there are a lot of girls who know each other and who play here, others there. I who follows in women's football for 2 years, I think it's a question of regional rivalry.
Soccer Hearts - Both teams lacked realism. The LOSC had more opportunities, but you have a great goalkeeper who made the decisive stop.
D.K. - On the whole match, we played with our means, with some young people, who were with us for 3-4 matches. I have not changed my game philosophy at this level.
We lost the first match because we were not ready. But a season is not played on this match there so it's always the same. I'm happy girls because they did not let go, we could have been quiet on our last 5 games and they played to the end.
Football Hearts - This season, you finish 3rd in the D2. Is it a good balance sheet?
D.K. - It's a good record. We had a difficult start to the season (players arriving late, many injured). We had a lot of changes but it was well put in place. But it's a question of budget, we would like to have two girls from home [LOSC]. For us, 3rd place is an honorable place.
Soccer Hearts - How do you see next season?
D.K. - It's always a questioning. We will play more young people because it starts to be more and more difficult financial level and we will see this week the contours of the team next season.
