It is with a lot of frustration, that we found the coach messin, David Fanzel, who reacted to our microphone yesterday, after Metz / PSG. The Messines who had chained the good results, met a team well above the others, who beat them at home 2-0. Interview.
The summary of the match => D1 (late match) - Metz / Paris (0-2): The PSG ensures without shining
Football Hearts - Coach your feeling on this match, before which you were on three consecutive wins?
David Fanzel - Yes, we knew that playing Paris Saint-Germain would make it difficult to make a fourth win in a row. What annoys me is when I see the game we are doing today, in the first half and in the second half where we do 0-0 anyway, where they do not create any goal opportunity and where we would have had maybe an opportunity is a penalty (on the attempt of Lea Khelifi with Melike Pekel) ... But hey, we progressed and then especially rely on it to go to Montpellier [this weekend ] and before going to Guingamp right after.
Soccer Hearts - What did you miss to hang on Paris? Because we had the impression that the game on the sides, it was a little complicated?
D.F. - Yes, well after that means that when we play like that, we take risks, we do one against one and this system against Delie or Cristiane, Perisset or Lawrence [on the corridors] it's complicated. So we took risks, in the second half it was well settled, we really took those risks [to get high PSG] and it allowed us to get the second central defender [Grace Geyoro] and there we really bothered them as the first quarter of an hour. Now there's no picture. We showed a beautiful image of FC Metz, girls and the progression of what it was 2016, and what is 2017. Like what the three victories are not a miracle but deserved.
Football Hearts - And to talk about your last win against Saint-Etienne. How do you explain this success? That they went to seek this third victory in a row, after having been dominated by the score by the Stéphanoises?
DF - But because (smile) we saw today, it's a group topic (gesture behind the hand to show the field), we saw it again in the 89th minute, where we go do a laundry again. Like the coach, they believe in it all the time and I take my hat off because they are really brave, because we have been condemned and we have gone through hard times and they have never let go and I think we must especially take the hat off to them because the ones they do it's beautiful.
Football Hearts - Yes because I saw that both goals could have been avoided anyway?
DF - Yes yes they could have been avoided but good after, there is this side power [PSG] which we still miss, even if it is (mime with these two fingers) really reduced but we felt we were missing a little power on these two goals there [cashed]. They are athletes, we are semi-athletes. But we start to reduce the gap so it would be great to be able to get support to continue our progress.
