D.C - Same (...) There, we were very well received, and even at the team level, we had a good osmosis.


CDF - For you Delphine, it was also the victory in the Champions League with Lyon?

D.C - Yes, in 2016, I also won the Champions League, that too, it marked me. It was really amazing.


CDF - Estelle, how did you experience this Delphine European title?

E.C - Obviously, it makes you want to play the Champions League. It's motivating, it's moving forward, so it's a good thing. The further it goes, the more it makes me want to go far. CDF - We'll talk about your injury, Delphine, long injury. It was a year ago, during an internship of the team of France in Reunion. Now that you have found the grounds, what is your view of what happened to you?

D.C - It's like a revenge on myself. I hurt myself while I was climbing. But it did not demotivate me so much. That's it, I'm here today, I'm really happy to be back in France.


CDF - At the time, the staff of OL had pointed out that you had played a lot, maybe too much. Do you think that's what played in what happened to you with the injury?

D.C - After me, if I had been asked if I wanted rest ... I was in the middle of things as they say, and I would have refused. I want to play every game and suddenly, frankly, there is no real culprit. I wanted to play several competitions, I could not refuse.


CDF - More and more, it is true also for boys, we have the impression that we ask a lot of young people, as soon as a player, a little like you, begins to "explode". In recent months, especially with the injury, that may be, we win patience, just not want to grill the stages?

D.C - Yes, of course. To say that we got hurt while we were on the rise, that's sure to make you think.

E.C - It was three years ago now. I had a long injury. It certainly reinforces the mind and it encourages not too much to burn the steps, pay attention to his body, to manage the efforts. In the end, it's a plus, once you're back.


CDF - How did you react in these situations, it was the discouragement or immediately the will to go up the slope?

D.C - At the time, we say to ourselves: "How could this happen to me? It always happens to others and it happens to me! Well, it's not inevitable, we get up. In Lyon, I was lucky to have a good medical staff. I also had the chance to go to Clairefontaine. It went really well and today everything is fine.

E.C - You have to be patient, especially when you come back. And little by little, we find his level, simply. It does not fly. The gains come back as time goes by.

D.C - It is true that our parents were really present, especially my mother. It's really a big support and without it, I do not think we'd be here today

E.C - Yes, really the whole family. They are behind us. We are really lucky. Supported, motivated. (...) From the moment we decided to play football, they are 300% behind us. It would have been the same if we had done basketball or ping-pong. (...) Football, we did without thinking about tomorrow. CDF - The French team debut is an important step in a career, how are you living this, with these first selections in Blue?
