After the Coupe de France match against Rodez, we came back to the meeting with Elodie Martins. Obviously disappointed after this elimination, she took the time to return on the season of FC Metz and on its course since the time of Algrange until today.

Faced with Rodez it was complicated from the first minutes of play?

We were a little shy about the beginning of the match. After when we put a little more physical impact, we were much better. In fact, that's what we missed at that moment [the physical impact]. We felt we were taking a little over on them but when you concede two goals in just five minutes [early in the game], it's hard to come back when you're 1-2. We have hope but after the second half, we take a third goal a little bit we will say and there we could not answer.

It was especially complicated compared to your wounded we will say?

Yes there was Mansuy, Gathrat, Wenger and Jatoba, we did not have some important girls in the squad. Then the Coupe de France, it also allowed to rotate the girls who train every day, but do not necessarily have time to play, so that's why that too [we had to run workforce].

After that, it disturbed me the most because I'm right with Héloïse [Mansuy] and it's been three years that we play like that, we know each other by heart. She is a player who has a lot of confidence in the field. After that I think we need to know how to adapt. Anyway we are here to help each other so no matter the player it does not change much.

But you felt a little behind this opponent, who was before you in the duels. Did you feel it on the ground?

Well it was not what we wanted, because the expectations of the coach, it was to press a little high at least the first quarter of an hour to be a little scared and we tried to do it but c It's difficult to produce our game. We have automatisms with some girls, there was also our third game [in seven days] so it was full of legs, it was complicated.
We were on a good start, we made two draws, where we deserved maybe even more.

We had talked with Adeline two days earlier, she told us that the priority was the two league games precisely, so you have filled your market share by getting at least 1 point on these two games respectively?

Yes, but when we come back on a field, we always want to win (smile). But it is certain that the priority is the championship and the maintenance, it makes sense.

"I am proud to wear this jersey"

Is it easier for you to play today having stored so many experiences or you feel that you have less juice in your legs? Even as you remain very active on the ground.

Yes (laughs) soon 32 years old and I'm still on the field. Not after it's necessarily more complicated because here I am working next door, it's far from home, it's 50 terminals Metz, I have a little girl so it's true that it's more difficult [on the field], but as I am passionate, I play and that's it. It is the love of football, the love of Metz, I have always supported this club and I am proud to wear this jersey, so I give myself thoroughly each time.

Since you play football, what is your best memory?

This is the first climb with Metz-Algrange (smile), we will never forget even if the second also it will remain a very good memory. But here with Algrange we started from nothing, it was a band of girlfriends, nothing was calculated.

"the fusion Algrange / Metz, we could not dream better"

You are from Algrange like many of the current team, we saw that you had participated in the climb in 2014 as you told us. The transition from the amateur to the pro you lived how? You went from middle to attacking today, it's a position that suits you better?

I liked because I was expecting a little professional side, to train every day, to always outdo and here after the merger Algrange / Metz, we could not dream better. Although we still think of Algrange because it was a club that gave us a lot. After me I am very happy to have done it. On the other hand, the professional side is more on the ground than outside because I have my work, I have my daughter so I have to know how to compensate but I do it and it is good.

There I was middle right even if I played higher but generally I stay middle right or I made a few games back right but it's really my privileged position [middle right].

Unlike good numbers of players or some others, you've never been in selection, it's a personal choice or you've never had this opportunity?

I did the pre-selections in U16, in 2000 or 2001. It is far and I stopped the football for 4 years, to have my knee operated.

You spoke to us earlier, you do a little lift with the D2 and D1. What does it mean to know the D2 then the D1 and the disillusion of going down, you are more confident in D2 or despite the results currently this place of D1, we appreciate it?

The D1 as I have already lived there two years, I knew what to expect. I knew that it was going to be very very complicated and that it was going to be played on nothing, on details, we saw it on the matches that we lost 1-0 in the 92nd (Albi). The more we go forward in the years with this section, with the young people who will arrive, the more we will be able to bring this experience. Because that's what we miss. Individually we are no worse than other teams and that's what makes it happen [lack of experience].

Does your game not lack a little conviction, to believe in you, or is it the pressure that makes you lose your game construction?

After that, I think there is pressure, which is normal, because we are promoted. We want to do so well we hurt. Since the results are not in our favor. After that you have to take his trouble, it'll pay for it.

Next week you receive Marseille, there you will be able to rest Wednesday or train a little more quietly. How do you apprehend it? It is a match that looks already complicated to play even if it is at home?

Yes it's a complicated match but in fact we have not spoken yet, we live the games a little day after day. We focus on our week of training, we work and Friday night David [Fanzel] gives us his group and here we do not mind.

You with your experience, it's been 16 years since you play football, even if as you told us you had this little break of 4 years. Do you try to talk to the other players a little to give them a little of your experience or do you let each manage as she wants the season? We do not see you giving instructions in fact on the ground, you stay in your bubble?

Yes after I think there are young people, who have much more experiences than me due to their particular selections, and I use them a lot to progress. After when I do not like it I say, I have a character (smile) I like to say things but hey everyone learns one on the other. Football evolves and you have to get up to speed sometimes (laughs).

Last question, with no victory and only 4 goals scored, 12 in the Coupe de France, mentally it's complicated because everyone sees you back down there, it's frustrating anyway?

Yes, I think we're going to win everything here and we'll keep going (laughs). That's what you want, it's going to be hard but hey, you have to let go. Yes it's frustrating because we created opportunities and then we do not get to the bottom so it's true that it's a little complicated. Now we have recruited an attacker, because we knew it was a player we missed to score.

There [Melike Pekel] she has not made us that joy yet but she brings a lot of goods around. I think as soon as she has put the first, after that will go by. In addition it is complicated for her, who comes in another team at the truce, she does not speak French. I take my hat to the girls who do that because I would not see myself go to Germany, I would be a little in trouble (laughs).
