Born on 27 January 1989 in Mont Saint-Aignan, Maude Perchey has been playing for FC Rouen since 2010. An atypical career because the midfielder made the big difference: from capoeira, Afro-Brazilian dance, to Rouen women's football. .
Maude's career begins in 2010 at FC Rouen. At 21, the Rouennaise who has never made a training center and even less known women's club, plays football in university futsal team. Laurine Petit, FCR teammate who convinced her to come to the club, remembers: "I met Maude at the college in the first year she was in specialty dance and I football. She had enrolled in university futsal following the recommendations of a football teacher from the university (she had had football in large compulsory field sports in the first half). Then suddenly, we played together at Futsal and I convinced him to come to try out FC Rouen and join the football specialty at the university, which she did ... it was not difficult to to convince. Then we played together several years in D2 ".
Maude starts in DH, the equivalent of the third division for girls and a regional division in Normandy. Luc Pottier who trained him in DH remembers: "Regarding his personality, his cheerful and laughing natural makes her a nice person to coach and rub on and off the pitch. Always listening and looking for the best, she works diligently to train and compensates for some gaps by an impressive physique. She is also good advice to young people and participates in good harmony within a group. She could be a good sports educator, I'm sure. When she arrived, she had little experience and only played football at the University. It was his first club experience I think. She quickly took the game and crossed the levels that made it an indisputable holder in DH. This allowed him to join the first team and continue his progression »
By dint of work, Maude crossed another level. That of Division 2 and the national level. Level that she will never leave. And that she still knows today still under the jersey of FC Rouen. At the truce of this 2015-2016 season, Maude has 93 D2 games with FC Rouen. Witnessing this level crossing, Cathy Prevost who was captain of the D2 pennant team: "When Maude arrived at FC Rouen, what surprised me most was her fighting spirit. She had never played club football and juggled between training and capoeira. Yet she quickly found her place thanks to her physical power, her desire to win and her cheerfulness. A rather atypical course and I am admiring because to this day it stands up to many players who have many more years of football behind them. And especially Maude also has a lot of humor. With Mylène (Deschamps) we did not stop them anymore. Real teasers that grow as a team upwards through friendliness. "
Maude goes through the seasons with the Normandy team with an average of 18 league games per season. Reason for that, a girl with many qualities summarized by Laurine Petit: "Its physical impact in the duels. She's really not afraid to go there and put her foot in and she gets a lot of balloons. Then his pretty impressive ball protection I find. Difficult to sting the ball in the feet from his size and solid support certainly due to his years of capoeira before football. They are strong and she has a very good balance. Good information too but around her, not too much on the whole field of the shot too often several controls before giving the ball and therefore waste of time but overall it goes.
A painting completed by Dominique Bougon, coach of the goalkeepers and goalies of the FCR. Dominique who knows Maude since his debut at the club, says: "Maude is at FC Rouen for 7 years I think. Climbing all the ranks of DH, D3 and holder in D2 since really 4 years where it is part of the 7 major for me (but it is the coach who chooses). She is an athlete from a distance in terms of her technical skills, as she was especially the player who went to the fight in the midfield. Through her investment and her understanding of the tactics of the different coaches who have been in the past two or three years, she has been able to puncture three or four things and now she is more technical and better tactically, even if sometimes the fire takes over (laughs). She is one of the engines in this multi-talented team that sometimes lacks leadership in some matches. Maude has a winning character and knows how to listen to advice ... She still has to work on her reading of the game to be a little less surprised and therefore be in reaction sometimes. This nice girl should know a rise in D1 like some others, synonymous with reward since the time she gives herself for this club.
A sentiment shared by the former Rouen coach Christophe Canteloup: "Maude is a girl that a coach can rely on, she is sincere, committed and has an activity to take the team when it is When I had the RCF, she could not express her natural leadership 100%, but she had really contributed to our group having a real life, and I have an excellent memory of Maude. An element that every coach likes to have in his group, moreover it can set the mood "
Meanwhile, FC Rouen alternates good rankings (3rd in 2010, 5th in 2015) and maintenance (9th in 2014, 8th in 2012). Not to mention an epic in the Coupe de France last year that led Rouennaises in the semifinals. Beaten at Diochon by Olympique Lyonnais on March 14th. A historic semifinal between two totally opposite worlds where the Norman ones will defend themselves bravely.
Maude will be part of all these adventures. A player still in the making. Still in progress. Progress that does not surprise her former teammate and her friend, Mylène Deschamps: "Maude is a player with a large margin of progression, athletic and who has a lot of activity in the field. She is a very important player and teammate in a collective because she is a person with a lot of positive energy and a driving force on and off the pitch. It has progressed enormously since I know it, on all levels: technical, tactical, it's a winner so it will still progress a lot "

A fighter who has already played 11 games before this truce of the 2015-2016 season. A driving force that the FCR will need for the 6th time to stay at the national level. And surely one day to aim like Maude, always higher.
