Born April 8, 1993, midfielder Marina Josserand moved to Flacé-Mâcon in Group C. Since 2006, she has remained loyal to her club. Alternating with the Saône-et-Loire club the D3, DH and D2.
It is often said that Marina is a technical player, that she projects quickly forward and that she has a good vision of the game. "I started soccer at the age of 5 with boys start Marina, thanks to my dad and my sister because my dad was a coach at Tournus, and I wanted to do like my sister, play football. They gave me that passion. And since then I have never stopped. I played at Tournus until I was 14 years old because I was no longer allowed to play with boys. I had the choice either to go to Chatenoy or RC Flacé because it was the two closest clubs where I live. So I made the choice to go to RC Flacé because my sister had already played for this club.
His former coach in D2 and D3 Flacé, Pietro de Cata says: "I keep an excellent memory. She started very young with me at 14 years old. She had enormous qualities at this age. She was already training with the seniors. I put great hopes in her and she was above the rest. Because of an injury, she may have missed a great career. Since I left Flacé, I still am. It's not too late for it to rebound. "
Marina discovers the D2 at 15 years old during the 2009-2010 season. She plays 9 games and scores 1 goal. "I found that it was technical, that it projects quickly forward, that it has a good vision of the game. It quickly takes the information" adds Pietro de Cata. Flacé adapts to the D2 and finishes 10th of the classification.
A fidelity that has already lasted 8 seasons where she will have known everything. Climbs like descents. "It's been 8 years since I played for this club continues Marina. I experienced a lot of joy but also sadness ... Of joy because I had the chance to know two rises in a row from the DH to the D3 (at the time) then from the D3 to the D2. We did a few years in D2 then we went down to the DH level because the D3 had been removed ... A blow for the whole club but with all the team we really wanted to do everything to be able to go back faster possible in D2. We did last year because we finished first of our hen in interregions and it was a moment with a lot of emotions, of joy ".
Those who met her in the field keep the image of a quality player. Christophe Cattelain former coach Monteux recalls: "I remember a formidable goal scorer despite the fact that she has always played in a team that plays the maintenance. Jean-Christophe Frédéric, the Chatenoy coach, the other club in the region who has already played in D2, says nothing else: "For me, Marina is a good attacker capable of evolving all along the offensive line. Fast. She's a scorer. Volunteer and fighter. It must be channeled into difficulty. Despite two major injuries (cruciate ligaments) at two seasons apart, Marina is back stronger than ever.
In this season 2015-2016, the return to D2 is difficult for Marina and her teammates. Currently 10th with two victories on the clock, the last in Marseille last Sunday, with the key to a doubling of Marina. Author of 7 goals in 10 games this season, she is one of the assets of the promoted Saone-et-Loire. An asset that has not escaped Mouche Lahouari, the coach who has brought up the D6 in this season: "Marina has an offensive game. A real number 10. I had it play in the right hall because it had phenomenal overflow qualities and dribbling qualities. She is intelligent. She is a player of great quality. I think she has the talent to play anywhere in D2 and why not go play in D1. She is a girl who has all my confidence, with whom I like to work ".
A quality player who continues to express her potential within Flacé Mâcon. Before perhaps to know who knows another destiny.
The word of Cécilia Josserand (Marina's sister and former European Women's Under-19 Champion in 2003):
"Marina started football at age 5 in a boys' squad in Tournus. I think it was seeing me playing football that she wanted to start. I often asked her to play with me. Tournus is the same club where I started football. She was already a very good player with character. The boys on his team knew he should not be bothered. She already stood out. Then she went to Flacé to play in a girls' team, but unfortunately the first year she could not play because she was too young. She could only do the workouts. She has struggled patiently and was able to integrate perfectly into her new club. Since she plays, I always said she would be better than me because she has a lot of qualities. Then, when I came back to Flacé to play, we had the chance to play a few games together. Because when I was injured she played and when I played she was hurt. We crossed a lot like this. But that did not stop us from being able to play together a few times. It's a happiness. Today I decided to wear the crampons again. I have in a corner of my head still being able to play a few times with her. Because I think it will be the last year that we will be together in the same team. I think that if we do not manage to stay in D2, it will be much sought by clubs more posh than ours and we will leave. It's a certainty. And that's what I wish him. That she plays in a great team because I know she has the physical and technical abilities to succeed at the highest level. She continues like this and a great club I think will appeal to her.
