For the 14th day, Fleury was deprived of the Auguste Gentelet stadium and received Soyaux on an annexed ground a few meters away. Neither team was favorite in this game. Each of the two teams had their period in this match. The first half was for Soyaux and the second for Fleury, who finally had the last word.
Post match reactions
Maeva Clemaron (Fleury): "A match is not necessarily won at" 11 "it wins with the whole group"
Claire Lavogez (Fleury): "When the state of mind is good, the game comes automatically"
Lionel Cure (Fleury): "At the break we set the record straight. "
After stumbling against Marseille in the Coupe de France last weekend, Fleury had to find the way to victory, even more in the league, since 10th in the standings at the kickoff. For his part, Soyaux was reloaded after his 5-0 win against RC Saint-Denis and with a 6th place that places them at a reasonable distance from the relegation zone at the moment. There are also three players in the game of Soyaux: Gwendoline Djebbar, Viviane Boudaud and Anaïs Dumont, holders from the kick-off.
Soyaux finds its group cohesion
In the Coupe de France, Soyaux had shown some signs of weakness in its construction of play against a team of Saint-Denis yet outdated. With two levels above, Fleury was not going to make quarters. From the start of the match, it is the Sojaldiciennes who will have possession of the ball. With a first big opportunity for Soyaux, on center center right Pamela Babinga (14th) but boxed by the door of Fleury, Maryne Gignoux. Just like this second attempt with a strike too crushed by Danielle Tolmais (23rd), which is easily grasped by Gignoux on the ground.
Gwendoline Djebbar (24th) will be involved in the third opportunity of Soyaux, with a cross shot of 20 meters, which ends on the post of Fleury before being cleared by the defense. The Floriacumoises do not really have opportunities to open the scoring on this early meeting, but cling to avoid being too far behind. They get their first chance at the half-hour, with Charlotte Fernandes centering for Claire Lavogez placed at the penalty box, but is blocked by Justine Deschamps on his shot.
Before the break, Soyaux tries once again to find the fault with this beautiful discount Pamela Babinga for Djebbar (43), who goes to the goal but she can not hit directly and finds herself stuck by the compact defense of Fleury. His attempt is then compromised
Back from the locker room, Soyaux shows signs of fatigue after giving a lot of energy in the first half, while Fleury tries to take the lead at home in this second phase of the match. The actions will then be linked to one side and then the other of the field.
The balance is found
Because this parity score at half-time does not help Soyaux's business. The team wants to continue with placed attacks but must now be defensive on the defensive side with more aggressive opponents after the break. But with the defensive quartet, led by Elba Verges, Justine Deschamps, Marie Aurelle Awona and Viviane Boudaud, the task will be difficult for Fleury. As on this strike Maeva Clemaron (52) at the entrance to the penalty area halted by the Sojaldicienne defense. The Floriacumoises find their going offensive, well breathed by Salma Amani and Maeva Clemaron.
Just before the hour of play, Sebastien Joseph decides to bring in Siga Tandia, who comes back from injury. An experienced player who will bring a new breath to Soyaux who still stuck in the last meters. A few minutes after that, we find Anna Clerac (62) on a strike full right axis, but it is completely unscrewed. The player is followed by Laura Bourgouin (63), on a shot to the ground, which will be saved by Gignoux, vigilant.
Floriacumoises find their way to the net
Fleury reacts with an opportunity, on a good combination between Clemaron and Amani, but alone against the goalkeeper it does not manage to cross his shot that is easily recovered by Romane Munich (67th). The keeper of Soyaux will face another alert a minute later, with a new rescue from Munich, which interposes in the air on the long balloon Multari for Lavogez (68th).
At the end of the match and especially after the release of Gwen Djebbar injury on the hour of play, Soyaux begins to lose the thread. Conversely, Fleury regains confidence and connects actions. Like this corner hit by Claire Lavogez (74th) and is taken by one of his teammates, but the ball is saved by Anaïs Dumont at the far post. Then another combination between Salma Amani and Claire Lavogez (75th), who found himself in the penalty area, but the ball is returned to the goalkeeper with the good return of Deschamps before the neo-Floriacumoise was able to try to hit.
But while the match was heading towards a draw between the two teams, Fleury will find the fault Soyaux. Daphne Corboz hands the ball back to Maeva Clemaron, who manages to lob the defense of Soyaux for the decisive pass to Salma Amani (83) who deceives Romane Munich 1-0!
An important victory for Fleury, who goes back to 8th place at the expense of Guingamp and Lille. For its part, Soyaux does not move a wire and remains 6th in the standings.
