First in group B, Yzeure makes a first part of the season "very positive" according to Gregory Mleko, the Yzerian coach. During this truce that began last week, Gregory Mleko returns on this first half of the season, his expectations on this second half of the season and the Coupe de France which will take them to Bourges next round.
What is your assessment of this first part of the season for Yzeure?
"The players had a very positive first part of the season. They work for it and they were rewarded by the quality of the matches and the 40 points took better than last season.
A word about your pursuers Bordeaux, 2nd, and Angers, 3rd?
"The chasing teams are good. They improved compared to the previous season. This allows to see high level D2 matches to progress.
What will be the motto for this second part of the season?
"For this 2nd season, we will work to improve and improve collectively because it will be even harder against all teams because there are only 44 points left and nobody has the right to the mistake to stay in D2. For our part we will try to be on the podium and take match by match because it will be long given the calendar. The championship is likely to be played in March and April, in any case we must continue to enjoy and progress.
A word on the opponent in the Coupe de France and the ambitions in this competition?
"In the Coupe de France, we're going to Bourges. The former club of Émilie Artese who joined us this season. They are leaders in DH Center. It will be the recovery so it will be serious and prepare the game like the others. The goal will be to be present in the 16th and to receive a D1 in Yzeure ".
