The reaction of Inès Jaurena and Théa Greboval, the two players of Juvisy after the match lost 1-0 at home against OL in late match of the 9th day of D1. Better than the first match of Sunday especially on the defensive plan even if it was not enough to pull a positive result.
5-2 Sunday, 1-0 today is still a defeat but did you see an improvement between the two matches?
Inès Jaurena - We were better defensive, we were more in place and closer to the ball carrier. I think a little bit more aggressive so we learned a little bit from Sunday's game and unfortunately it was not enough today.
Théa Greboval - I think there's bound to be a bit of disappointment in terms of the score and we're not scoring today. But then I think we can be positive about the instructions that have been respected at the defensive level. We managed to be lower and annoyed this Lyon team. It's a shame to get this goal soon enough and after that it's true that we have not managed to get back to the score.
Emmanuel Beauchet told us that Lyon was the best team in the world, what do you think?
T.G - It is true that it is a very good team, there are the best French players and the best players in the international teams. We see it especially with the arrivals of Alex Morgan, very good German players. Yes, it's a very good team, after ...
I.J - Me, I have never played against such a good team after all it's not to fear them and play our game when we play them.
The positive points ?
I.J - The positive thing is to be able to make sure that their possessions are almost sterile, since they have only scored one goal. After I find that there is a disappointment offensively since we were not dangerous, we did not worry today.
T.G - We corrected what Sunday we failed to do. The instructions was also to have a low block and succeed in playing against so it's true that at the defensive level, on the low block we rather respected the instructions but after we did not necessarily succeed to play fair and to precisely exploit these counters.
Juvisy a team capable of competing with the best but lacking regularity?
T.G - We have a difficult first part of the season with highs and lows, (...) it allowed us to learn from our mistakes and learn lessons. After the second part of the season, we will draw the draw in Montpellier, we learn from our game in OL Park. There we lose 1-0 but we still draw lessons so I think we must use this to make a good second half of the season and to make a beautiful course with many hopes in the Coupe de France.
The wounds, the changes, the players who do not necessarily play at their posts how they live in the field?
I.J - We have composed, there have been injuries between Sunday and today, changes in the team. After we trust each other (...) We know that if the girl plays, she will make her match. We put it in trust, it gives us confidence, at this level there is no problem.
T.G - This is the strength of the group, and we know that we are a solidarity group. It's the values of the club, the solidarity, the envy, the determination so we know that whatever is on the ground, as Inès said, we know that it will do it
Fourth place, always a goal?
IJ - It would be a poor performance for us to be worse than fourth so this fourth place, we will go get it and there we are rebuilding a little, to regain confidence in the first part of the season and it is sure that's the goal. We do not want to see anyone else finish in fourth place.
