The France team will face the Nigeria team (35th in the FIFA rankings) in a friendly match on April 4th in Paris. These two nations have not faced each other since the group stage of the World Cup 2011. The blue, who had gone to the semifinals of this World Cup, had beaten the Nigerians in group stage 1-0 (goal of Marie-Laure Delie). This will be the third African team that France will meet since January 2017. The players of Corinne Deacon had indeed faced last year South Africa (2-0) and Ghana (8-0). Before receiving Nigeria, France will welcome Italy on January 20 in Marseille, always in friendly. The objective of these two friendlies will be to refine the automatisms and to prepare for the 2019 World Cup, which will take place in France.
