Laura Georges reacted after PSG's victory over Albi. The defender Paris has also expressed on the upcoming deadlines in Paris, including the final of the Champions League in sight or the Coupe de France in two weeks.
Football Hearts - Was there a sense of revenge on this encounter against Albi?
Laura Georges - There is no revenge but rather a feeling of doing well, winning the match. We won on the first leg, we proved that there was a real difference between the two teams. Unfortunately, there was this green carpet story that put us in trouble. We wanted to show that in the field, there is no problem.
Soccer Hearts - A 4-0 win, an ideal match for you?
L.G. - It's a kind of preparation for big games coming up. It also helped to rotate the workforce and prepare well for the future.
Soccer Hearts - You are 3rd in the championship. Is 2nd place still possible to go?
L.G. - We are more masters of our destiny. Our goal is to win all of our 2 games remaining and to finish the championship. We count on ourselves and we will not let go
Football Hearts - And are these matches a preparation for the big deadlines that will arrive at the end of May-beginning of June?
L.G. - All games are important, Albi is one of them. We had to make a good result in order to prepare well for the future.
Football Hearts - How do you judge this season before the "money-time"?
L.G. - The first part of the season was excellent. Being first in the championship, scoring goals and not taking it, it's just exceptional. After, we lost games on details and this story of lost points that hurt us very much. That's how we learn, we kept our heads above the water for the Coupe de France and for the Champions League. It's good to have that state of mind.
Football Hearts - What did Patrice Lair bring you this year?
L.G. - It has allowed us to be more aggressive and be more involved in our games. With him, the culture of winning is even stronger.
Hearts of Football - How do you approach these 3 games against Lyon?
L.G. - They are approached by being well focused and taken as they prepare for each goal.
Football Hearts - Is it exceptional to play in a Champions League final? This match is positioned in front of others?
L.G. - It's hard to say that a game is in front of the others, even if we know that the Champions League is necessarily the ultimate grail for a club. The Coupe de France is important too and must end the Championship. We have to finish this season with the Champions League, which is very important for us.
Football Hearts - But anyway, you know the Lyonnaises (for playing 6 years there). What are your eyes on this team?
L.G. - Lyon remains Lyon. A big armada, a big manpower. We beat them this season, but it's a team that knows each other well so it will be a big opponent.
Soccer Hearts - Who will be favorite on these 3 games?
L.G. - I think it's Lyon, the favorite. They are the champions of the Coupe de France and the Champions League and they are champions of France.
We made a lot of progress during the season. We managed to beat them but the other meetings will be different and it will be interesting.
