This Saturday, January 9th, only one match for the 32nd finals of the Coupe de France was played between Wolxheim (DH) and FC Metz (D2). A meeting where the team that is at the top level, Metz, easily won the score of 6-0.

An expressive result and especially with a four-fold increase of 21-year-old forward Meryll Wenger and a double of Julie Wojtyla, the 24-year-old forward. Two elements in the form of the Metz attack because Meryll Wenger is the best scorer in the club in D2 (9 goals in 11 games) and Julie Wojtyla is the second best scorer (8 goals in 10 games).

For Hearts of Foot, Elodie Martins, Metz striker out of injury, gave us his impressions after the meeting.

Football hearts: The year begins in style for FC Metz?

Elodie Martins: "I would say that we made a serious match, with a lot of desire. It lacks a little rhythm but it's normal after the truce.I got injured at the very beginning of the 2nd half, so I'm out! Very happy to move into 16th ".

Soccer Hearts: The victory was rather "easy"? In the next round, what can we wish you?

Elodie Martins: "Not too easy, they fought with their weapons, but here we are in D2, we respected the hierarchy ... Again a team against our level would not be bad for my taste."
