This Sunday, December 6, Montpellier received the Lyonnaises at the Mama-Ouattara stadium and managed to hold the leader in check, with a draw, 0-0, on the 11th day. An almost unexpected result as the Lyonnaises had dominated this beginning of the championship, yet the Montpellier did it!

We expected a lot from this meeting between the two teams that occupy the first two places of the D1 Women's Championship. Both Montpellier and Lyon have conceded no defeat until now. The Lyonnaises were even better with 10 wins in 10 league games, while Montpellier conceded a draw 0-0 against Paris Saint-Germain.
