This is the surprise of this third list of Corinne Deacon, after a meeting in France B team last month, Nadjma Ali Nadjim made his debut in the big leagues. Arrive in Bordeaux this summer, from Grenoble (D2), the attacker recognizes that his young career takes a new turn. Before the friendly matches against Germany and Sweden, Hearts of Football met the neo-blue so that it gives us its first impressions.

Hearts of football - First of all Nadjma, you are 14 years old at Olympique Lyonnais, how was your arrival there?

Nadjma Ali Nadjim - Good and not good. I had just left the boys and I did not want to play with the girls too much. I was even about to stop football. Fortunately my brother motivated me. I had trouble [with the girls] because it changed, it was more the same impact, it was more the same speed. Then, I started with the boys and always played with them.

But then it was in Lyon because at the time there was the D3 level and there were only girls older than me, and that's what I need to boost me. In addition, there was only one girl born in 1994 who could play by game, and there were four 94 to fight to hold this place at the weekend, so it motivated me, there was a challenge.

"When I have confidence, everything goes with it. "

CDF - After Lyon, you left for Claix [which will become Grenoble] in D2 female. You continue your progress, but last year you have to face an injury ...

Yes, at the beginning of the season I had a little syndrome of "the wiper" (tendonitis of the knee) that had been chasing me for some time. I preferred to calm down to come back better.

CDF - So you really came back better. From January you explode and scored 14 goals in 8 games. Did you feel that this cut did you good?

Yes upon my return I felt great. With the girls of the team it was going very well, and from a personal point of view I came back bigger. This injury helped me work on my mind. And there is also the fact that the coach has me a little more confidence in the second half of the season. When I have confidence there is everything that goes with it.

"It's up to me to make good use of this card. "

CDF - Now we're going to talk about one of the France team, whom you're discovering right now?

Yes since I have never had any young selections. I started last month being called in France B team. And now in A.

CDF - It was fast for you then. Did you expect it a little?

Not really. Not right now (smile and sparkling eyes).

CDF - What did you pay for? What is the coach, Corinne Deacon saw in you?

I do not know what she saw in me, but I know she is very open, she gives everyone a chance on this team. So she told herself why not test me, after that it's up to me to make good use of this card. It's in my hands now. When we are in the France team the goal is to stay there, it is not to pass. I would have been called next time, my state of mind would have been the same. The thing is, once you're called, you have to fight to stay there. To be called in the French team is only the beginning of the story.

CDF - This convocation also rewards the collective work of your club, the Girondines de Bordeaux?

Yes really, I thank them. Since I arrived in Bordeaux [this summer] there is everything that goes on. Fortunately, the girls are here. It's really a collective work, because if my teammates did not give themselves as they give themselves I could not be as I am right now.

CDF - Bordeaux made a big recruitment of talents during this summer break ..

It's true that there is Juliane (Gathrat), Erin (Nayler), Niamh Fahey too. She is really the quiet force, the experience, she is good in central defense. And there is Carol (Rogrigues) who weighs on the opposing defenses, she is good.

CDF - Exactly your Brazilian teammate has just been injured and suffers from a rupture of the cruciate ligaments of the right knee. She will be unavailable several months, it must be a difficult moment for the team?

Yes it's a blow, we lose a significant person. For now we played only Montpellier without it, but the benchmarks will return little by little. Then what's good is that behind it follows. We lost Carol but the attacker who replaces her [Sarah Cambot] she is tall. After the training stays the same, it's just the compo of the weekend that changes."To be better you have to play against the best. "

CDF - Exactly Monpellier, or the PSG that you play after the international break, are these matches that you had ticked especially when coming to play in D1?

Of course. I could have stayed in my comfort in D2, because I was also requested by D2 clubs. I could also stay in Grenoble where I was great. But I really like the challenge and when I watched these teams on TV, I said to myself "why not me? ". These are teams where it plays really well and against whom I want to confront me.

CDF - We notice that you really have a winning state of mind. Where are you from?

To be better you have to play against the best. Then I do not like losing. This is my biggest defect, whether in training, match or even a little fun game, I must not lose. But on the one hand it's also what makes me outdo myself every time.

CDF - For a competitor like you, losing only 2-0 against Lyon, which is their smallest win of the season, is a small satisfaction or not?

It's when it's zero because it's a defeat (smile). After we say it's not so bad because no one has done it on this season. Even in the Champions League we see teams taking five or seven goals. And these are teams that play the Champions League. While we, Bordeaux, we manage to hold that two goals to zero, it is encouraging.

CDF - In the field you are someone who likes to darken and overflow on your left side, it is something that characterizes you?

This is my trademark we will say. I am right handed but this year indeed I play a lot on the left.

CDF - A pass is like a goal for you?

Yes. Before no. I have not scored yet that's why I say that (laughs). But against Paris FC, when I make the decisive pass for Solène (Barbance) I thought it was me who had scored, I was too happy, and suddenly I said to myself "ah it's the same, it's the same feeling, it's just that there will not be marked my name.

"I do not do so on the ground (...)
if I play, that's the most important thing. "

CDF - To return to the Blue, you did your first training with the team of France. How's it going ?

It's okay, little by little I put myself in the bath. It's different from Bordeaux but it does not really change, it remains the same intensity.

CDF - Are there players you already know well, or players who know you?

Yes there are players against whom I played when I was in Lyon in U19. After younger I played with Aminata Diallo and Amel Majri. And, there are bigger ones like Sarah (Bouhaddi) or Wendie (Renard), who already saw me when I was smaller. But they must find me changed, I have calmed down since. I took on myself.

CDF - Ah, because you had a fire temperament being small?

Well, as I said earlier, I do not like losing!

CDF - Among the matches planned, you move to Germany then you play Sweden in Bordeaux. If you had to live your first selection on this match would it be an even stronger feeling because it's in Bordeaux?

Not especially. I am someone who likes to play first and foremost. I do not do so on the field, I started on the ground, the gore and whether in Bordeaux, Marseille, Lyon or others, as long as playing, if I play, that's the most important.

CDF - We saw that on the social networks the account of the Girondins of Bordeaux congratulated you. It must be fun, especially since you are the first representative of the women's section called in France team?

Yes it made me very happy (with a big smile). Because there are two accounts, that of women and men, and I did not expect that. I was pleasantly surprised.
