This Tuesday, ASJ Soyaux announced the departure of Nicolas Goursat as a coach of the women's section, currently 6th in the standings and which ensured its continuation after its victory against ASSE. Information that comes at the start of the final sprint in D1 Female, and that translates a real malaise in the elite this season.
When the big clubs continue to continue their rise in Europe, the "small" clubs are always struggling to keep the pace on twenty-two days. An attraction that can sometimes complex some clubs, struggling to find balance for their team and for their players in particular, who must cash without flinching about them.
This season marked a real turning point in Women's D1 with the rise of Olympique Marseille, led by Christophe Parra or the arrival of Patrice Lair at PSG. But this edition was also an opportunity for coaches to leave. Patrice Lair was the first to let this possibility hover in the case of the four points removed, because of the Albi / PSG score sheet. It will be that of Olympique Lyonnais, Gérard Prêcheur who will be dismissed in February by his club. Before seeing Hervé Didier of ASSE do the same but of his own free will, after nine years at the head of the women's team. Like Sébastien Joseph, coach of Rodez, for the same reasons as Hervé Didier, because of the working conditions and training of the players. Emmanuel Beauchet will also be thanked after 2 years at FCF Juvisy, at the dawn of the merger with Paris FC, next season. The coach Soyaux is the fifth coach to follow the pace, Tuesday, May 2. So many changes that make this 2016/2017 exercise unique and surprising.
