Olympique Lyonnais may soon lose two major players. Amel Majri is thinking of changing air soon, just like his friend in the middle, Amandine Henry.
The first quoted, offensive midfielder often placed on the left side, expressed on its future in the TV show OL TV, Dr'OL DAM, broadcast tonight at 20:15. The one whose contract expires in June has indeed still not extended as recalled by the website of OL:
"At the end of the contract with OL at the end of the season, Amel Majri is not yet certain to continue the adventure in his club of heart. If it considers evolve in the best conditions, in Lyon, the offensive environment would like to play higher on the pitch, so discussions are continuing with the club. "
A situation reminiscent of the Swiss Lara Dickenmann, part of Lyon last summer to Wolfsburg, where she can now play in attack after having also been confined to the left side in the Rhone. But before Majri, another player had already hinted that she would soon leave the Lyonnaises.
Indeed, Amandine Henry has shown, through several actions, that she seems more and more interested in the idea of joining the United States and the NWSL, including Portland. If the rumor has never really been confirmed, the one who was recently elected by "the team" as one of the most influential personalities of French football will have more time to think about it in the coming weeks. The latter will indeed be away from the grounds for some time following a tear in the right calf.
