Olympique Lyonnais won on the pitch of Paris FC on behalf of the 13th day of D1. The Parisian players held the OL in check until the break, before giving in the second half with three goals scored in the last ten minutes of play.
For the resumption of the championship in 2018, Lyon was moving to Bondoufle against a team of Paris FC that OL had largely beaten in the first leg (9-2). But this afternoon, we attended a very different match, with a score that does not completely reflect the face of the match, remained long uncertain despite a wide domination of Lyon on the whole of the game.
Paris FC resisted until the break
At the kickoff, Pascal Gouzenes had decided to align Estelle Cascarino in the right lane, a defensive choice with a Parisian team that regularly defended five to contain the game Lyon sideways. With Shanice van de Sanden injured on the ankle, Delphine Cascarino took over on the right side of the attack Lyon, while Amandine Henry was lined up in front of the defense for his return to D1.
Lyon moved quickly to the opposing side, while Paris FC tries to proceed against, even if Clara Matéo lined up and often alone in the field of Lyon. The first opportunity of the match for OL comes in the 13th minute of the game, with a center of Eugénie Le Sommer Camille Abily in the box. The ball escapes him at the moment of the recovery and ends his race to the left of the goal of Karima Benameur.
It is then Ada Hegerberg who places his head on a center of Amel Majri, on the left again, but the ball is captured by Benameur in front of his line. The Parisian goalkeeper, again vigilant on the hit Amel Majri in a closed corner (18th) after infiltrating the defense on the left. Despite these opportunities, the Paris FC is out of the first quarter of an hour without damage, despite the pressing Lyonnais that permanently maintains the danger around the Paris area.
Shortly after the half-hour mark, Wendie Renard is close to opening the scoring on one of the many corners obtained by Olympique Lyonnais. A ball distributed by Amel Majri, and the Lyon captain placed a header pushed at the foot of the left post by Inès Jaurena (32). A decisive save, while Karima Benameur manages to capture two new Lyon attempts signed Le Sommer (37th) and Dzsenifer Marozsan on a free kick played two (45 + 1).
Inevitable Ada Hegerberg
The Paris FC held on this first act, and could even open the score after the locker room. At the break, Pascal Gouzenes chose to bring in Mathilde Bourdieu who replaces Clara Matéo at the forefront of the Paris attack. In the 49th minute, we find her on a fast attack, with a ball right Gaétane Thiney right, Bourdieu gives him the ball back in the area. The Paris captain can not take back the ball, slightly behind his back, and misunderstanding with Inès Jaurena, prevents the action to end with a real shot on goal.
A rare opportunity, as often against OL, and the penalty is almost immediate in the minutes that follow. On a corner, Amandine Henry tried his first shot with a ball that failed on the crossbar. New center right side, with Henry again at the reception at the far post, and Karima Benameur at the parade. The ball remains in play, and dangerous on the edge of the surface, a new center, this time on the left side, Hegerberg finds at the post and his head finds the way to the nets (53). Karima Benameur, on the trajectory of the balloon does not succeed this time to repel the ball.
A first goal, and OL quickly close to the break with this long-distance shot by Delphine Cascarino who hits the crossbar (57th). The Parisiennes will also stumble on the amounts with this recovery Gaëtane Thiney 16 meters, following a free-kick, and that Sarah Bouhaddi deviates on its crossbar (61).
A final half hour for which Reynald Pedros replaced Griedge Mbock on the left side with the opening of Kadeisha Buchanan, and Amel Majri positioned higher up the hall. Mbock who will bring offensively on the side, alongside Eugénie Le Sommer, and with more freedom for Amel Majri, involved on the second and third Lyon goals late in the game.
End of match on the kneecaps for Paris FC
But that one-goal gap keeps Paris FC in the game. Risk taking on the Parisian side who end up paying at the end of the match. In the 83rd minute, we find Ada Hegerberg at the conclusion, after a center left side Amel Majri, and on which Karima Benameur can not intercept the ball. At the far post, the Norwegian striker can then conclude lonely in the Paris area.
Three minutes later, Hegerberg is found in depth by Marozsan, and can rely on Amel Majri arrival launched and then back to him. Served ideally in the area, facing the goal, the top scorer of the championship adds Lyon's third goal of the day (86th). Amandine Henry came on for the final minutes of the match, Kheira Hamraoui scored Lyon's fourth goal in stoppage time, heading Dzsenifer Marozsan's right-wing center on a final against Lyon (90+). 3).
The final whistle sounded in the wake, to conclude the victory wear Olympique Lyonnais. A logical success that allows OL to maintain its lead at the top of the standings, while Paris FC paid a late game played breathless and has allowed the OL to take a little more offshore.
The post-match reactions:
Gaëtane Thiney (Paris FC): "The score does not necessarily reflect the match"
Pascal Gouzenes (Paris FC, coach): "We held almost the entire match"
Amel Majri (OL): "We are happy to leave here with this 4-0"
