During this 12th day, Paris Saint-Germain was moving on the ground of Rodez, stadium Paul Lignon. The victory smiled on the Paris women, 1-0, thanks to a goal from Anja Mittag. Back on this match.

After a big win against Juvisy, 5-0, we thought that this match against Rodez would be a formality for the Parisiennes. Yet it was not as easy as that for Farid Benstiti players because this Rodez team is no longer the one that Paris met on the first day, 5-0 for PSG.

From the first minutes, as usual, the match is launched in the hands of Parisiennes, who dominate without much contestation. But a good resistance Rodez and excellent goalkeeper in the cage, Déborah Garcia, have somewhat doubted the players of the capital.

The opening score will still occur during this first half, and it is the German attacker, Anja Mittag, who sticks. In the 29th minute, Anja Mittag recovers the ball in the box and goes to beat Deborah Garcia in the only duel lost by the goalkeeper. 1-0 for PSG and eighth goal of the season for Anja Mittag.

The first half ends with this poor lead of the PSG.

Often Paris Saint-Germain has accustomed us to having difficulties to score the first goal, as we were told by Parisian goalkeeper Katarzyna Kiedrzynek last week after the match against Juvisy, but after opening the scoring Parisiennes chained the goals ... Not this time.

However, the opportunities will not have missed the team of Farid Benstiti, the Paris coach, but the players of Sebastien Joseph, the coach of Rodez, resisted until the last minute.

Paris strikers Cristiane, Anja Mittag, Marie-Antoinette Katoto or Ouleyemata Sarr, have failed to shake the nets of Ruthenoises a second time.

The Parisiennes are forced to forceps thanks to a single goal from Anja Mittag and remains three points behind the leader, Olympique Lyonnais. Next week, we will have to end the year on a positive note against Soyaux at Charléty stadium.

As for Rodez, the team shows a completely different face in a few games and the maintenance seems to be a formality. It will however confirm this good phase on the ground of Saint-Étienne, a club which also plays the maintenance.

Next week is the last day before the truce.
