Author of a very good performance against Marseille, the captain of Paris Saint-Germain, Sabrina Delannoy, came back on the meeting and her decision to put an end to her international career with the Blue.
His feelings on this PSG / OM
It was a special match. We feel it around, the supporters of both teams were present and it was not a match like the others. But we, no matter the team, we start a match in the same way. The fact that supporters are present on both sides brings a plus and it is good for the development of women's football, because it brings a craze and we hope to have posters like this one (...) Many journalists had thought that we were going to put a lot of goals, but we knew that it was going to be complicated, because OM is a beating team, which gave a very good copy, was very well in place with two attackers, who went up very high. It is not easy to beat these teams there, but the important thing was the victory, historical of course, because it is the first female class. Nevertheless we are aware that there is still work in the way of concretizing the opportunities, to develop our game (...) The match was up to expectations, there was all that was needed and I wish that there will be other teams that will push like the LOSC. The future is here and I hope that Ligue 1 clubs will create their women's section and allow other players to become professional.
PSG audience and stadium
It's a good thing, because it's important to create a place where we are at home. It was a choice of the coach to play at Camp des Loges. I have only good memories of this stage, so I feel good. Alternate between Camp des Loges and Charléty stadium. It will also help to keep the people of St Germain and the region loyal.
His international retirement and selection
It was a personal and thoughtful decision, planned before the Olympics. I had kept it for myself so I could focus on the tournament and make the most of it. I have other projects in mind, especially the foundation in which I really want to invest myself. I want to prepare my reconversion, but also focus on the club where I have been for a long time (...) If we had been world champions, Europe, Olympic, I would have made a different choice and it would have me given extra energy to continue. When one is sporting, one can not be content with being in the quarter-finals of a competition (as a reminder, France was eliminated by Denmark at Euro 2013, by Germany at the 2015 World Cup and Canada at the Rio Olympics). I made the choice to focus on the club. The selection brought me a lot, made me grow. It was a pride to be able to wear this blue jersey. I will be the first supporter of the Blue, because there is a lot of talent in this team. I had discussed with Olivier Echouafni to tell him that it was a personal choice. I wish him good luck for the future.
