The France U20 team was on an internship at Ploufragan in Brittany, from January 15th to 19th. During the course, Gilles Eyquem's players played two friendlies against Saint-Malo (D2) and EA Guingamp (D1). The objective of this stage and these two matches: to prepare for the U20 World Cup, which will take place in Brittany (August 5th to 24th). On January 17, the U20 first defeated Saint-Malo 5-1. The blue goals were scored by Selma Bacha, Marie Antoinette Katoto (x2), Melvine Malard and Hélène Fercocq.

Then the next day, the French U20 won 4-1 against Guingamp, with another double of Katoto and goals from Emelyne Laurent and Lina Boussaha. A good way for coach Gilles Eyquem to refine the automatisms and prepare for the World Cup in Brittany. See you in seven months to try to do as well or better than at the 2016 World Cup (defeat in the final 1-3 against North Korea).
