On May 27, Marignane will host the "Elite" and "Excellence" finals of the U19 National Women's Challenge. For the Elite category, the double winner of the Parisian title will face the Montpellier. While in the category Excellence, Olympique Marseille will play, almost at home, against the VGA Saint-Maur.

PSG joins the MHSC

This weekend was the last day of Challenge U19 in the "Elite" category. If Montpellier did not have to wait for the 10th day to finish first in Group B, ahead of Lyon, and secure its place in the final. Paris Saint-Germain battled to the end in Group A. With two points ahead of his pursuer Vendenheim, the Parisiennes had no right to the error. With a 3-0 win over Lille, PSG secured first place in their group.

PSG will play the finals on May 27 against Montpellier. Despite a 4-1 defeat to Saint-Etienne, the MHSC was already qualified for the final, eliminating the Olympique Lyonnais, finalist of the last two challenges U19 after winning in 2014 and 2015. Double winner in title, PSG will try to keep his trophy, while the club Herault, winner in the category Excellence last year, will try to win in the Elite.

OM for a home final

Another category of this Challenge U19, "Excellence". This weekend, Marseille, Reims, Dijon and VGA Saint-Maur, the first of their respective groups, faced each other in the semi-finals. The second semifinal between VGA Saint-Maur and Dijon FCO saw the club Ile-de-France win on the score of 3-1.

The VGA therefore joins Marseille in the final. Since the day before, OM had on his side imposed 4-0 against the Stade de Reims, to afford a home final. Since, as for the "Elite", the final will be played on May 27, in the Bouches-du-Rhone, Marignane.
